OrangeHeart was sent alone to patrol the SkyClan Border when he wanted to be as far as possible from the SkyClan border he couldn’t do anything about it so he had to go then when he was almost finished a cat walked right towards the border… from SkyClan good grief this would be a long day he thought to himself in a attempt to make the day shorter he said “who goes there? Might as well back off SkyClan Cat!” Then they still kept coming he had no idea what to do next so he waited for there response.

Dawnfeather hadn’t meant to go anywhere near the SkyClan border. However, she’d been assigned to a solitary patrol. So far she’d been spooked by a bird taking off and a random twig snapping underpaw. She really needed to get her act together, in case somecat tried to attack her… and, of course, this would happen.

“What?” she asked in confusion… then realized the wind had been blowing towards the other warrior and she was a good fox-length over the border. “Ummm…” she balked, her mind choosing this moment to be very confused and stop working properly.

OrangeHeart's eyes sharpened “Who are you you?” he said again his claws sheathed after he waited for there response he said “and what are you doing past the boarder?”

Dawnfeather looked from side to side warily, inching back towards the border. “Oh, I wouldn’t want anything I think you cats forgot to eep!” A twig cracked under her back paw, startling her, and she leapt forwards with a cry, slamming straight into the ThunderClan tom. They went tumbling backwards, her claws unsheathing out of habit. With a yelp she tried to disentangle herself, heart pounding. Her tail got caught in some brambles, pulling her off the ThunderClan tom. “Ow… ow ow ow…”

Dawnfeather accidentally used Jumping Strike, dealing 6 damage and costing 7 stamina.

As They were responding there foot hit a branch and ran straight into OrangeHeart unsheathing his claws when he didn’t mean to and they went backwards when the tumbling stopped it took him a little bit to get back up and say.
“what in StarClan was that! When your foot hit a branch the least you could do is not run into the nearest cat in sight!” He was angered with this cat as he sheathed his claws again and attacked without thinking.

Dawnfeather backed up swiftly, but the ThunderClan tom was swifter, kicking her in the stomach with unsheathed claws. She let out a yelp of pain, and smashed the tom on the snout, careful to keep her claws sheathed. “I’m Dawnfeather! I didn’t mean to-“ With a grunt, she stumbled backwards, head spinning from the force of the ThunderClan tom’s impact. Uuuugh… she dropped into a defensive stance, trying to prepare to take his attacks.

Ugh this is what he got for watching the SkyClan border even tho he didn’t have a choice at this point he waited until they got into a defense stance and did the same thing himself waiting to attack when they least expected just before he attacked he said “Is that your only method of attacking? Running into the opponent and when you get hit smack them in the head?” and then attacked before they got a chance to reply

“Umm… no?” Dawnfeather began, but before she could react the tom slammed into her with unsheathed claws. Ooof. She batted feebly at him, eyes beginning to shine with unshed tears. She didn’t want to hurt him. She didn’t want to get hurt herself. Why was she even here, on ThunderClan territory being attacked by a ThunderClan tom? This wasn’t living up to Hawkuncle’s potential. A few sobs escaped from her throat as she stopped swatting at him, going limp under his claws. Her brilliant blue eyes stared straight into his, tired and confused. Maybe she and Jasminebloom were both destined for the stars… she sought out good cats on the green grass on the Clans.

“Than why are you not using more effective methods of battle?” he was starting to think DawnFeather didn’t want to be here at all they weren’t even effectively trying to harm him so he stopped trying to attack and gave a long pause and decided to attack again waiting for a full sentence from them before deciding his next actions.

Dawnfeather gave a strangled cry of pain as the tom raked his claws down her stomach. She scrambled back to her paws, barely hearing his words through the ringing in her ears. “I…I…I…” What was she doing here? She wasn’t living up to Hawkuncle’s potential. She wasn’t being a good warrior of SkyClan. A sob escaped from her throat as she lashed out before turning to flee.

With a single bound of her powerful hind legs she was up a tree, hurrying back into SkyClan territory where she could find moss and cobwebs to stop the bleeding. She didn’t want to bother Beechaunt. Not with such a small, easily preventable injury. If she’d really fought, she could’ve beaten him off, been a good warrior. Not her. She was too mouse-brained. Tears clouded her vision as she made her way back into SkyClan territory, her wounds stinging and feeling like a failure.

Dawnfeather used Fight and Flee, doing 10 damage and costing all remaining stamina. Attempt to escape was successful.
