| As the days passed, Alderbloom could feel Greenleaf coming closer and closer. More prey would be coming out due to the warmer weather, meaning that the fresh-kill pile would be filled more often right now. The RiverClan elder didn't mind the heat, since the rays of sun felt comfortably warm on the ginger tom's fur. Today, the sun felt even better than what it usually did. Alderbloom smiled. His life really was perfect as of now.
It wasn't always that way. His siblings died from kittencough, he had a bumpy ride through apprenticehood, and to top it all off, he killed a cat at the Gorge. Of course, his emotions were now in check, and he was no longer the angry warrior that he once was. That part of his life was over, and he was past it. Now, he was living his life as an elder, and he didn't have the burdens of being a warrior stressing him anymore.
