Larkspring
The new territory was plentiful compared to the territory they left behind, and Larkspring was looking forward to having fresh food to catch. Half of his clan was sick, but he was not blind; he knew that otherclans fared worse. He was not exactly grateful about it, but perhaps relieved that it was not as bad as it could be. He would help his clan in the meantime, and that meant catching food. They were by a lake, after all, and so RiverClan would finally grow full again on fish.
There were others that he went out with to gather prey, and Larkspring tried not to focus on them. When they were far enough away from the gathered clans that the fish would not be disturbed, he stepped carefully into the water. This was different from how they fished at the river, but the shore of the lake was too shallow for fish to come up to. He ventured out until the water was up to his chest and tried to not shiver even as the water was cold. He waited and watched for any sign of fish that he could lash out and grab.
Larkspring tried to catch a fish…and was successful! -3 SP.
His claw lashed out and almost missed. It was clear that he grew rusty from how long it had been since he was able to fish, but he still managed to hook one on his claws. Larkspring let out a relieved breath and then set the fish aside on the shore. He’ll bring that to Cindersky when he’s done, and so he needs to catch one for Rookflight too.

ShadowClan was one of the worst-hit clans by the epidemic. Only a pawful of cats were healthy, and most cats were sick in some capacity. Poppycloud was one of those sick cats, but luckily for him (and ShadowClan as a whole) he could still hunt if needed. He had a cough here or there, but besides that he felt fine. His dad did tell him to be careful about spreading what he did have, though, and to try angling his head away from other cats while coughing or sneezing. Advice from his dad was always something that he took to heart.
Watching a RiverClan warrior wait patiently to catch a fish - at least, that's what he assumed he was doing, standing in the middle of the lake - the black tuxedo turned to catch his own prey. A vole scurried into the underbrush, with Poppycloud crouching down to stalk it. Slowly but surely, he got closer and closer, until he found the right distance to pounce at it. The vole made an attempt to escape, but Poppycloud landed right on top of its neck, pinning it down to the ground. Thank StarClan I caught it. Nipping it at the neck, he buried the catch before searching for another piece of prey to hunt.
