Birdsong continued to rain down blows upon the owl, got once her disgust at the blood coating her paws was absent. Or buried, maybe. Burrpaw had hardly been out of camp for an hour or so, and the last thing she wanted was got her apprentice to get hurt.
Instead of trying to attack again, however, the owl continued to beat it's wings furiously, leaving behind the cats who had injured it. Immediately, Birdsong's attention was focused on Burrpaw, looking him over for injuries.
"Burrpaw, are you okay?" She asked, she didn't see any blood that was his, but she had to ask. Her bloody shoulder was forgotten, for the moment.

Burrpaw was understandably shaky after the encounter, and Birdsong thought maybe it would be better to cut the training session short for the day. He could rest and get something from the fresh-kill pile.
His question made her glance at her bloodied shoulder, and Birdsong let out a huff. "I'm fine, Burrpaw." It didn't sting too badly... Though she was sure Beechface would have something to say if she saw it.
"Do you want to continue this? Or would you rather go back to camp? We can always pick up tomorrow." She mewed.
