Ebonysong stepped out of the warrior's den. It had been a while since she last did an actual apprentice ceremony. Things have been quite busy, especially just after the Asylum's rule. Today, she was doing the ceremony of a former Asylum she-cat she had once met. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Jagged Rock for a Clan meeting!" The deputy's voice was much stronger than when she had done her first ceremony, but she was still out of practice.

Ivory trotted out into the clearing and sat down beneath the Jagged Rock. Her tail tip twitched. She was having a little trouble adjusting the Shadowclan's sleeping schedules... but she would be ready for whenever clan meetings were called. She didn't have a choice in the matter, if she truly wanted to be part of them. And she did. The clan cat culture was beautiful, even if brutal at times. But hadn't the Asylum been brutal too?
Mistyfalcon lifted his head from where he'd been stretched out by the warrior den at Ebonysong's call. Clan meetings? Lovely, really. Still, he padded close to the gathering clanmates, settling on the edge of the crowd as was his usual habit. Spotting Ivory, he gave the former Asylum member a brief nod before returning his gaze to Ebonysong.

IC: There was a pause to wait for everybody to arrive before the deputy spoke. "I've...Called you all here to witness a new apprentice be named. Ivory, please step forward." There was a moment of silence, waiting for the young ex-Asylum cat to do just that before she continued. "Ivory, you have chosen to join ShadowClan and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as...Moonpaw. Your mentor will be Mistyfalcon. I'm certain that he will train you well in our ways."

Mistyfalcon watched as Ivory was called forward. She'd chosen to stay, and she was certainly young enough to be made an apprentice. With how curious she had always seemed, this would be more of a learning opportunity for her.
His name was called, and Mistyfalcon blinked. Him? Mentor Ivory- Moonpaw? Talkative, curious Moonpaw? Dark eyes shot to Ebonysong in surprise, but Mistyfalcon stepped forward to gingerly touch his nose to that of his new apprentice's.
Hopefully this would go better than Rainpaw's apprenticeship had.
"Congratulations, Moonpaw. We start training at sunset."

Ivory blinked. Was this really happening? They were officially accepting her as a member of Shadowclan?? A huge grin broke across her face. Her mentor was Mistyfalcon! They touched noses and she barely stifled an excited giggle. Moonpaw... my name is Moonpaw! She turned her gaze to Flintstar and Ebonysong and nodded her gratitude. Words could not leave her mouth.
