Murkystrike purred as the tom accepted her challenge, eyes lighting up with excitement as he sprung at her. The blow was light, and as she turned to deal a blow of her own she smiled. It had been a while since she had sparred another cat, and Mistyfalcon was a good partner to have. Her blow landed firmly, sending a small ripple down her foreleg as it connected. Returning back to her defensive stance, she grinned at the tom.

Mistyfalcon took a light swipe at her shoulders, and grinned as she shoved him more forcefully. It made him take a step back, before he moved in again, paws aiming for her shoulders, this time a bit more forceful than his first blow had been.

Batglow chuckled at Freckleface's response. He liked her enthusiasm, though it seemed that he forgot about the spar at that moment and slipped up, falling to the ground and allowing the older warrior to pin him. "Well that was fun while it lasted!" He chuckled. He waited for her to let him up before he stood, shaking out his fur, and moving off to the side.

Mistyfalcon stepped back with her blow, and she made the same motion as he lashed out with a paw. It landed on her shoulder, and a dull throb lingered even after his paw had found the ground again. Murkystrike's tail lashed playfully as she grinned before darting to his left and striking at his side with her right paw.

Murkystrike darted to his left, paw quickly swiping as his side. A small oof! escaped the tom at the contact, but he turned on her, aiming to throw her off-balance by swiping at one of her hind legs with a mischievous smirk.
He didn't, however, take into account one of his own paws slipping from under him as he moved. His rump landed on the cold ground, and Mistyfalcon found himself smirking up at Murkystrike. She could pin him, easily, and they both knew it. Not that that would stop him from trying to playfully swipe one of her legs out from under her, if he'd gone down, so would she!

Murkystrike stared down at the tom as he slipped, before blinking and purring. Pinning him swiftly, she smiled down at him before letting herself roll off of the tom as he knocked one of her paws out from under her, laying on the ground next to him. "Thanks, Mistyfalcon. That's the most fun I've had in moons." She purred before standing and touching her nose to his shoulder gently.
