Beechface had heard her sister, and instinctively moved towards her voice, wanting to protect the youngest in their group with trespassing cats around.

"I didn't realize Thunderclan was perfectly okay with trespassing and attacking those they encountered unprovoked." Beechface's growl rang out as one of the Thunderclanners leapt for her sister, and a second leapt for Tigersong.

She was a medicine cat. Her vows forbade her from fighting... But Beechface very much wanted to. Her lips curled as she eyed the third Thunderclanner, ears flattening against her skull.

There wasn't a lot of time for Tigersong to react to the sight of the mottled ThunderClan apprentice attacking Vulturepaw - his fur fluffed in alarm, and he started to look back to Beechface, expecting instruction, when Shrikesong slammed into him from the side. Tigersong grunted, lips peeling back in an annoyed hiss, and he rounded on the she-cat, bunching up to leap forward on to her. His teeth sank into the nape of her neck and he batted her with his paws.

Tigersong used Teeth Grip on Shrikesong, costing 20 Stamina and dealing 8 damage. No turns remaining.

Everything happened so fast that Crowcaller wasn't exactly sure how to proceed. Badgerpaw attacked the SkyClan apprentice on their own territory, surely that was against the rules, but as he noticed the blur that turned out to be his sister bolting across to tackle a ginger warrior, Crowcaller shrugged. "Alright, then!" he said to no one in particular. Surging forward, he went for the only unoccupied SkyClan warrior, a massive fluffy silver tabby. "Shall we?" he asked, the tip of his tail twitching with amusement. Surely a cat this large and formidable would be a great opponent! Without waiting for a response, he reared up on to his hind legs and whacked her about the head with sheathed paws.

Crowcaller used Upright Front Paws on Beechface, costing 20 Stamina and doing 11 Damage.

Beechface had taken a step towards the battling apprentices, wanting very much to get this Thunderclanner off of her little sister, and to maybe call out for Tigersong, see if they could get the Thunderclanners' attention. The ginger tabby had looked to her as if for guidance, but before either of them could react Tigersong was quickly forced to defend himself.

And then the Thunderclan warrior was hissing some sort of challenge, rushing toward her. Beechface took the blows across her broad shoulders before her muscles bunched, and she leaped for the tom in response. She wasn't supposed to fight unprovoked, but this was self-defense. Almost immediately she could feel a difference in her strength from when she was still Wolfstar's apprentice. The moons where fighting had been replaced by herbs hadn't exactly helped her stay in shape. This other cat was definitely stronger than she was... But she had the size and weight advantage.

She landed on the tom, using her weight to force him to the ground. Her grip wasn't the most secure, but it would have to do for the moment.

"Call off your clanmates, and you can go back to your side of the border." She hissed at the tom, "I'm sure you have better things to do than attack others." If the tom didn't have better things to do, she supposed she could sit on him, but Beechface would really much rather see these fleabags be on their way. She dug her claws into his pelt and felt blood welling in the wounds they caused, and part of her thought it was an acceptable substitute for her littermate, at least for the moment.

Starclan's Judgement activated, as Crowcall is the first to attack an MC. -5hp.

A startled squall reverberated through the gentle arch of Vulturepaw's throat, a sudden and uncharacteristic cry blossoming low and hot under the unanticipated collision with the foul-smelling ThunderClan Apprentice. The wan sky went tumbling in a blur of monochromatic browns and blues as the pair of little molies went sprawling a few tail-lengths deeper into SkyClan's territory, an unpleasant tangle of bristling tails and lashing limbs belaying the ensuing struggle. A painful collision with a broken ridging of roots momentarily separated the writhing Apprentices, and allowed the quickest sliver of a heartbeat for Vulturepaw to tumble free- violent aches rising sharply beneath her ruffled coat. Lurching her weight sharply onto her arched heels and whipping back around to face Badgerpaw, Vulturepaw's stiff and agitated posture was entirely alien, evidently irritated by the sudden and rather useless attack on behalf of the opposing ThunderClanner. It wasn't as though she had any intent to attack the feather-brained molly for accidentally crossing the border- if she had any actual interest in doing so, she would've simply attacked right away instead of vocally pointing out the misstep!

"You squirrel-brain!" Vulturepaw snarled, familial temperament and rage seething to the surface as her soft voice rose several octaves in a shrill display of her simmering dismay and irritation, before she suddenly hurled herself forward and bowled Badgerpaw over, using the sudden moment to shove her opponent deep into the soft soil. "What's your issue?"

Shrikesong wasn't planning to fight today. She just wanted to hunt in peace. And then Badgerpaw attacked, which meant that there was no turning back from this battle. She didn't think that this would end in a peaceful resolution. And when Tigersong bit into her neck, the brown she-cat fought back by slashing into the tom's shoulder. What in StarClan's name did I get myself into? She still justified it in her mind by saying that these cats would have beaten her brother and apprentice had she done nothing, which gave her enough resolve to fight the SkyClan warrior despite knowing that she was in the wrong.

Shrikesong used Upright Front Paws on Tigersong, dealing 11 damage and costing 20 stamina. Also, I forgot to add the +3 surprise bonus on Shrikesong's Run-and-Tackle, so it will be added right now.
