Unfamiliar Land [for Mamen]

Ravenclaw scrunched her nose up as she passed the ThunderClan scent markers, hating the scent of those ThunderClan mouseheads. What choice did she have, though? She needed to teach Amberpaw hunting, and SkyClan territory was far away. Too far away, according to their leader. So she and her apprentice were forced to enter ThunderClan territory, a place Ravenclaw never wanted to go. She'd had a scrap with ThunderClan before, and they disgusted her. Still, at least their technically illegal jaunt involved trees, and that's something she needed to teach Amberpaw.

She made her way towards the edge of the territory, beckoning Amberpaw along with her tail. "Now, before those ThunderClan rats get here, let me show you how to climb a tree properly." She flexed her claws and sat back on her haunches, then threw herself into the air. Her claws dug into the bark, feeling different, slightly thinner than the trees she was used to. Still, she was able to claw her way up to the nearest branch. She looked down at her apprentice. "Now you try."

'Invasion Dice' :

Amberpaw happily followed her mentor to ThunderClan territory. ThunderClan smelled somewhat similarly to SkyClan, but she could tell the difference between the two the longer she waded in their territory. Watching Ravenclaw climb up the tree, the young she-cat prepared herself to try herself. When her mentor gave the okay, she pounced at one of the other trees nearby, digging her claws into the bark. The young she-cat pushed herself up the tree, before scrambling onto one of the branches. "I did it!" she exclaimed, puffing her chest out. Maybe now she could sleep on one of the branches in Fourtrees whenever she wanted.

Murkypaw had been out testing some of her skills that she had just learned from Thistlemask, after having badgered the ever-living-stars out of her mother to take her out to train. Nothing else mattered to Murkypaw at the moment than becoming the best warrior that she could. If she didn't know everything, and didn't do everything correctly, then how could she be a good warrior? That was the only question on her mind at the moment as she had been going after the piece of prey.

That would change, however, as the smell of something unfamiliar hit her nose with a force that made her want to sneeze. It was just familiar enough that she could have dismissed it, but there was something about it that still had the alarm bells sounding in her mind. Without so much as a second thought, she abandoned the prey she was hunting down... only to see not one, but two completely unfamiliar cats in her territory! Defense was all that was on her mind, and so she went right up to one of them, barely grabbing their tail with her teeth and yanking as hard as she could. "Get off of there! This isn't your land! Mottlestar didn't tell you you could be here!" She hissed, as loudly as she could as to also alert her mother, who wouldn't be too far behind... Hopefully.

Murkypaw used Tail Yank on Ravenclaw, taking 15sp and dealing 7hp of damage.

Ravenclaw did not expect someone to come over and yank on her tail. She dug her claws into the bark of the branch to keep herself from falling off, suppressing a yelp as she turned around to find her attacker. It was... just an apprentice? That's what they looked like, anyway. From the smell of them, a ThunderClan apprentice at that. True, they were on ThunderClan land, but StarClan be danged if she was going to let an apprentice tell her what to do.

"Aren't you out of your depth, apprentice?" She nudged Amberpaw, nodding towards the ThunderClan apprentice. "This will be a good time to learn how to battle. Show me what you can do, and send this whelp back to where they came from."

Amberpaw didn't expect a ThunderClan apprentice to come out and try to chase them away. All they were doing was climbing trees, and SkyClan territory was too far away anyways. With Ravenclaw's prompting, the light ginger she-cat pounced from the branch she was perched on to the ThunderClan cat below, pinning her down.

Amberpaw used Leaping Bound on Murkypaw, dealing 5 damage and costing 10 stamina. Murkypaw is pinned for one turn.

"This is Thunderclan territory! Mottlestar hasn't said you guys are allow-GAH!" The defensive apprentice let out a hiss as she was pinned down, and she was quick to act on instinct. Her body twisted, contorting in an attempt to break free of the pin that she'd been caught off-guard in. It seemed the Skyclan apprentice had the upper hand as she couldn't quite break free, and the she-cat hissed in frustration.

Murkypaw uses duck and twist without success, dealing 4 damage and costing 5 stamina. Murkypaw is still pinned for this turn!

Amberpaw growled as the young cat tried to wrestle out of her grip. "Can't a girl learn how to climb trees in peace?" she retorted. "It's not like we were hunting on your territory or anything, so what's the problem?" As the ThunderClan apprentice twisted and turned, Amberpaw followed her momentum before disengaging softly on her feet. Before she noticed what was going on, Amberpaw slashed her claws across Murkypaw's body, staying at a calm distance away.

Amberpaw used Dodge and Fight on Murkypaw, dodging the damage from Duck and Twist and dealing 5 damage in return (costing 7 stamina).
