Watching (Open Hunting Patrol)

Ashstorm woke early, to prepare for her patrol.  She gathered in her group and began to walk into the forest.  Being accompanied by a strange Asylum cat and knowing that there would probably be ten more of them watching her and her group as they wondered around the forest in search of prey, was not helpful to the situation.  The sun, that was still reaching into the sky, was covered up and, even with the burnt trees, there was still some shade in the forest.  She walked in the still ash covered ground of the forest.  The only reason she liked her fur color was that she could blend into the surroundings more easily.  Tiny chirps of birds and noisy insects could be heard.  Even small footsteps of some other animals could be heard if you listened well enough.  Something told her that this patrol was going to be very successful.
