Beechpaw turned, eyeing the plant her brother had found. White flower, dark leaves. "Daisy, the leaves are used for joint pain." The clan elders would appreciate them, she was sure. Nighthawk had grumbled about getting older more than once recently, and Beechpaw found herself drawn to make the tense elder more comfortable. The leaves were carefully harvested and added to the growing collection of gathered herbs.
Beechpaw turned, and her eyes were drawn to tall stems with almond-shaped leaves.
"Chickweed. Good thing too, with it getting colder." She'd found some on her herb hunt with the Thunderclan and Shadowclan medicine cats as well. Skyclan would be well-stocked for the inevitable sickness that leafbare would bring.
"I think we might as well start heading back. I wasn't expecting to find as much as we did." Beechpaw carefully wrapped two large beech leaves around the herbs they'd managed to gather, using a small bit of cobweb to keep the ends together so nothing would spill. With a nod towards her brother, she'd lead the way back to camp.
