Talking to Mistpelt

"Well I would rip its lungs out" Weedkit mewed and leapt pretending to claw a Badger.

Pinespirit chuffed, then quickly giving a glare to Mudpuddle as if to say, "how does he know what lungs are, hm?" She licked her kit on the head. "I'm sure you would," she said calmly. "Mudpuddle do you have a story?" she purred, turning her head to look at the brown warrior, her mate.

"Um, how old do you think I am?" Mudpuddle joked. "Yes, yes I do"

"Well tell it, if you would, please." Pinespirit meowed. Her whiskers were fanned outward, relaxed, and her tail was slowly swishing over the frost.

"When I was a kit, I used to have a lot of fun. I ate so may mice, but when my fist leaf bear came, I didn't eat much. I once tryed to eat ice, but when I licked it my tung got stuck, this has actually happened a couple times before" Mudpuddle meowed than pause waiting for any comments.

Pinespirit chuckled. And thats Mudpuddle for ya' she thought.

Mudpuddle continued "I usually had Hawkpaw or Mistyriver help me get it off. I licked a icy tree and no one noticed once. I almost slet out there the whole night but luckily it melted and I was free. So I went right back to the nursery" Mudpuddle meowed

"Too bad that cats don't salivate, because I heard that saliva, or water, makes your tongue wet and you can slide it off easily." "Are you done, Mudpuddle?" she purred.

"Yes, yes I am done" Mudpuddle meowed to Pinespirit.

"Well, maybe I should start my story," she said. She cleared her throat, and waited for attention from everyone.

Mudpuddle turned his head and meowed "Go on"

"Yea go on mommy" Weedkit mewed

"Common go no" Mudpuddle meowed

Pinespirit thought for a moment before beginning, "well, I was a young kit: Pinekit. I had wandered out of the nursery to explore. I desperately searched for something to do, but there was nothing. Warriors were scarce, as well, and they were too busy for me. So, I went outside very silently. I saw a huge stream!" She opened her arms wide, then set them back down before continuing, "and there were so many fish! I tried catching one. I thought that maybe if I caught one, then my Clan would think i'm more than a kit, but a warrior, too! Maybe then they would notice me! So I attempted to catch one. I successed in slipping into the freezing water, where the current swept me away.." She stopped to catch her breath.
