Mistyflash was relatively calm for once as she strolled through camp with a pair of fat mice dangling from her mouth. “Lunch for two?” she purred, flopping next to one of her former denmates. Lilypaw was older than Mistyflash, but her apprenticeship had been delayed. The two had never been close, but that didn’t deter the short black cat. Besides… Lilypaw was pretty.
