Talking to Mistpelt

Mudpuddle walked into the elders den. "Hello Mistpelt" Mudpuddle meowed and dipped his head. "How was you day. I brought you a vistitor"

Weedkit ran in, "Hello Mistpelt" The young kit mewed and dipped hs head in respect

"Oh, hello there little one," Mistpelt meowed. "Have I seen you before?"

OOC: Gosh, please don't consider me old! ::P: Let's just say I retired early, okay? ::P:

"No, I am only two weeks old" Weedkit mewed to the elder

OOC: Did you do that to just get on her nerves

IC: "He was hoping you would tell him a story" Mudpuddle meowed

"A story, huh?" Mistpelt mused. "What kind of a story would you like to hear?"

OOC: ...Not old...

"One about when you were a apprentice" Weedkit mewed

OOC: Sorry, I know you never were a apprentice so make it up

Mudpuddle sat down and waited for the story to start.

OOC: Hah-hah, this could be a little challenging...here I go!

IC: "Ahem," Mistpelt cleared her throat, and began. "During my second moon as apprentice, I was still eager to learn and a bit show-offy to the kits that were in the nursery at the time." She paused for a moment, wondering how to transition to the next part.

Mudpuddle continued to listen with his kit.

"One day I was training with a fellow apprentice, and things got a little out of hand. I was beating him nine times out of ten while we were learning a new, more difficult move, and me being the show-off I was at the time, he got frustrated with my taunts. The next time he came at me, it was with his claws. He bowled me over and took a swipe at me with his paw!" She crouched down and slashed the air dramatically in front of her, an amused grin on her face.

'Cool" Mudpuddle meowed

"Wow" Weedkit mewed and said "Anything else"

"Shhh, let her finish" Mudpuddle meowed

Bluestar listened near-by. She smiled and quietly greeted the elder with a respectful nod.
