Trespasser

Once again, Willow was trespassing in clan territory. This time, though, she was looking for a fight. She didn't necessarily like bloodshed, but she really needed to calm some boiling anger, and she decided a battle would be the best way to loosen up. Pine needles crunched beneath her paws as she padded deeper into the marsh. It was dark and gloomy, and she couldn't imagine why cats would live here. Unsheathing her claws, she dug them into the soft ground, imagining a cat's pelt tearing beneath them. Her ears perked when she heard a small rustle. She would have missed it if she hadn't been listening for signs of any clan cats. Creeping in that direction and hoping it wasn't just a piece of prey, she neared the area where the noise had been made. After sniffing the air, she determined that it was a ShadowClan warrior - she knew the basics about the clans from a friend. With a loud battle cry, she sprang at the other cat and bowled them over, hoping that would be enough to get her opponent to fight.

Sparkfire stood very still in the clearing, listening for any prey. She took in a breath, tasting the air, and she pinpointed the scent of a nearby mouse almost immediately. Just as she was about to begin stalking in the direction of the Clan’s next meal, she heard loud rustling from behind. She hadn’t had time to dodge a body slamming hard into her side, sending her skidding across the needle-covered ground.

Regaining her footing, she glared angrily at the intruding cat that had snuck up on her out of nowhere. This cat had caused her a catch! She would pay. With a battle cry, not even bothering with words, she ran up to the molly and unsheathed her claws, slamming her forepaws against her face in quick succession.

Sparkfire used Rending Front Paws on Willow, dealing 15 damage and costing 25 stamina.

Willow yowled in pain when her opponent clawed at her face. Looks like she bit off more than she could chew - the other cat was stronger than her. Determinedly, she sprang at the warrior and tried to pin her down while raking her unsheathed claws down the other cat's back. Blood leaked out of the wounds and she smiled in satisfaction, scratching as deep as possible.

WIllow used Leap-and-Hold, costing 10 stamina and dealing 8 damage. Sparkfire is pinned for 2 turns.

The wind had been knocked out of the ShadowClan warrior the moment the intruder slammed into her and pinned her to the ground. The trespasser was strong, but she was stronger. Summoning her core strength, Sparkfire twisted hard to the side, loosening the intruder’s grip on her. She immediately rolled away and leaped back up to her paws, glaring at the molly before her with hackles raised. ”I suggest you leave this place if you don’t want to get seriously hurt,” she snarled.

Sparkfire used Duck-and-Twist on Willow, dealing 7 damage and costing 25 stamina.

"Nice dodge," Willow admitted, slightly impressed by her opponent's move but unwilling to admit it. "But I'm having so much fun,"she grinned maliciously, "Why would I leave?" Hoping the words were enough to distract the other cat for a moment, she reared up on her hind legs and pummeled her face with both front paws before coming back down.

”Because I’ll tear you to shreds if you don’t!” Sparkfire stood her ground, taking the intruder’s attacks, trying to find an opening to counterattack. Once she found it, she pounced and slammed into the cat’s belly, knocking her to the ground.

Willow ignored the warrior's last comment, focusing on the battle instead. She leaped to her paws quickly after falling over with her opponent's last strike. Angrily, she reared back on her hind legs and slashed wildly at the other cat's muzzle before dropping back down.

Sparkfire landed back on all fours the moment she saw the intruder’s paw raising up, knowing what was next to come. Thanks to many moons of training honing her reflexes, the warrior managed to leap to the side just in time to avoid the attack. She tried swiping out in a counterattack, but was unable to connect her paw with the trespasser’s pelt before she, too, leaped out of range.

Sparkfire used Dodge-and-Fight on Willow, avoiding -11 damage and costing 15 stamina.

The counterattack fails.

Willow clenched her teeth angrily when her opponent dodged her attack and she was forced to go on the defensive, leaping out of the way to escape the other cat's claws. She decided to use the same move she had just used. Once again, she reared back on her hind legs and slashed wildly at the other cat's muzzle before dropping back down into a defensive crouch. Surely the warrior couldn't dodge it again...

Sparkfire spat in pain and fury as the attack she had tried to dodge made its mark this time. Shaking her head furiously, she growled, deciding to finish the frog-brained intruder off. The warrior reared up on her hind paws again, took quick aim, and slammed down her large forepaws against Willow’s head, sending her crashing hard into the ground. Sparkfire stood over the defeated molly intimidatingly, glaring down at her. ”I warned you. If you value your life, you will now leave this place and never return. This is your final warning.”

Sparkfire used Upright Lock on Willow, dealing 16 damage and costing 25 stamina.

Willow grunted in pain as stars exploded in front of her eyes after the other cat smashed their paws on her head. She collapsed, and it took a moment to stop the world from spinning. Still unwilling to back down, she mocked, "Have fun defeating a loner who hadn't had any training? How wonderful!" she finished with fake enthusiasm. Without waiting for another heartbeat, she darted out of the warrior's reach where she would be safe... for now. "Don't you mange-pelts eat bones and live with fleas? I'm glad I don't live with you clan cats." She added emphasis on the word clan cats like it was something she couldn't wait to get rid of, unable to stop herself from making another jab. After she finished her taunts, she dashed away from the forest and didn't stop until her paws touched the hard ground of Twolegplace.
