If You Want Peace... [Open for sign-ups!]

As the old saying goes- if you want peace, prepare for war. Morningpaw of WindClan doesn't quite know this one- she still thinks this can be resolved peacefully. She still thinks that, with enough cooperation between the clans, things can change. But with the events surrounding the April Gathering and Finchstar, she knows something has to be done.



The Gathering gives our heroic little apprentice an idea- she's not the only one with concerns here, and she's not the only one who sees the writing on the wall. Unfortunately, many of the others are from other Clans- and with the Righteous Few patrolling the borders, there's no way they could meet up to discuss things further...
... except, perhaps, right under StarClan's nose. The Righteous Few are spread thin guarding the borders from the other Clans, leaving Fourtrees undefended. A perfect central location that each Clan can reach (albeit with some difficulty in SkyClan's case).

It is to here, at Fourtrees, that some of those who take a stand at the Gathering are invited, two nights after the Gathering itself. And it is here that an agreement is made- each cat would convince the most spirited members of their own Clan to meet here in a week. The ranks spread.

It's just over two weeks later that the second meeting takes place. More cats this time- only those loyal to the Clans, not to the Righteous Few, and only those with the determination and will to take a stand, no matter what it costs. By now, news of Dacedream's death, Oakstar's demotion, and the Plague has reached the others, and Morningpaw refuses to stand idly by. The house is divided, some cats fearing more wrath and some bracing themselves for it- but all present realise that something, anything, must be done. They agree to invite even more loyal cats to the next meeting, those capable of sharing their knowledge.

- The more the merrier! News spreads like wildfire, so go ahead and show up.


The next Gathering, clouds have appeared over Fourtrees, dark and foreboding- and given the escalation of events,  the Righteous Few cat demands the unconditional surrender of everyone from the rebellion, to be judged by the rest of StarClan. Perhaps the silverpelted cats followed one of them last week, or perhaps someone from within the group tipped them off- but as the clouds break open, pouring down rain from above, we find out if ghosts really can bleed.


The fight is not without great cost for both sides- the StarClan cat will not back down, and is most likely defeated by the congregation of warriors present even despite their formidable combat skills (and Leader stats). But for Morningpaw, the one who organised all this, the one who dared spit in the face of the stars? Her punishment is far more severe. In the fight, she is struck with a lethal blow- she falls, seemingly incapacitated, but as the fighting stops and the survivors assess the casualties, Morningpaw is among them.

She's not dead- not quite- but the wrath of the Righteous Few is terrible and fearsome, and she doesn't wake up from her unconscious state. In recognition of her dedication to bringing peace back to the forest, the comatose apprentice is named Morningdove of WindClan. If only she were awake to know it.

Obviously, we're going to need other cats for this- a couple of experienced warriors and one of the Righteous Few for 'Tearing the Silver Pelt', and as many cats with spirit and heart as we can get. If your cat hates racist grandpa StarClan and wants to see some change, this might be for you. There's also room for a filthy snitch to tip off StarClan, but if nobody wants to besmirch their name like that, we can just have the Righteous Few cat follow one of us instead.

not all heroes wear capes... morningpaw is barely an apprentice so she's not gonna turn away willing cats her age for this ragtag band of rebels

i've been pretty busy lately, but i'm in the process of writing a post in the gathering right now. Robinpaw is definitely going to say something and will stand for what she thinks is right (smallbean is too much of a wus to do anything at all and will probably not say a word the entire gathering heH)

also i'd like to say i absolutely l o v e this plot idea, and even if i can't be included i'd enjoy seeing this happen

Cedarpaw is up for it, she is pretty mad about the whole Starclan thing, she’s gonna speak out at the gathering soon

all added to the list! we're gonna build our own gathering, with blackjack and-- okay, no, with just blackjack.

Batbite would definitely want to get involved with something like this, especially seeing the number of ThunderClan apprentices here. And apprentices as a whole, really.

Also Mothglow! She's fairly strict about her pacifism, but if she caught wind of this she'd want to be present in case things go wrong and someone gets hurt.

updated, and there's now a total of 20 cats willing to join the cause! that's as many cats are in all of SkyClan combined.

I'll sign up Starlingpaw in WC and Sagelight, SkC MC! If Mothglow's in, he'll be in too. He thinks this whole thing is horrible and it's really kinda broken his trust in StarClan and he wants to make things right, although he won't fight.
