Juniperkit’s Apprentice Ceremony

Ravenmist hopped her paw up onto the now familiar Jaggedrock, ears swiveling to locate two particular cats in the clearing as she called. “Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Jaggedrock for a Clan meeting!” So many kits had become apprentices lately, and today it was young Juniperkit’s turn.

Juniperkit padded over excited, and bouncing around. She was bigger then when she was born and had grown to look quite pretty. She watched ravenmist with content eyes.

Ravenmist nodded in the direction of the young molly. "Juniperkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day forward, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Juniperpaw." She flicked her tail, smiling down at the newly named apprentice. "Your mentor will be Tulipfang. I trust she will teach you well." She took a pace backwards, chanting out.

"Juniperpaw! Juniperpaw! Juniperpaw!"
