Fernkit's New life {Open to all!}

Copperkit was fairly new to the nursery and didn't know anyone, yet. She stayed in her nest quietly watching and observing everyone and how they would react to having a cat that wasn't born of a queen in the clan. After all, her parents were rogue and had given her up to die in reeds. She sighed quietly and started grooming her long cream fur. (I don't know where I come from in the twolegplace, but does that really matter as these cats have taken me in? Will they care for me or will they cast me out like my mother and father did?) she stopped grooming herself and looked around and spotted a brown cat coming in. (What is his name? He didn't introduce himself when he came in like the other cats did.) she said with a slow blink blink of her brown eyes.

"I'm Fernkit! And you are?" She asked, looking up at the older cat.

Copperkit jerk her head up. "Are you talking to me?" She asked the younger kit. "Fernkit, that's a nice name." Her murmured almost to herself. (I wonder who my parents are?)

Copperkit jerked her head around. "I know, it is so much more quieter here in the nursery where the queens can keep us save." she said with round eyes. "Which one's are your parents?" she asked out of mere curiosity not knowing that Ferkit was an outsider brought in like herself.

Copperkit crept towards Fernkit. "I am sorry. I didn't know that you were an outsider brought in. But on the bright side, you are just like me where we don't have parent's and we can be friends now!" she chirped happily looking at her new found friend.

Copperkit looked at her sad friend and shook out her fur. "Hey, do you want to go and play in the water? I heard a couple of warriors and apprentices say that the lake was kinda warm and that they liked to go swimming, wanna go?" she chirped tipping her thick head. "I think it would be fun."

Copperkit bobbed her head. "Come one, let us go before one of the warrior's realize what we are doing...after all, they just spoil the fun if we try to play in the water." she purred. "And because we are Riverclan, our fur is already water proof and I won't get wet." she swished her tail proudly

"Yay! lets go!" She said happily.
(this isn't going to end fell, she has no riverclan blood, so she dosn't have waterproof fur or stuff like that.)

Applepaw smiled. “I’m Applepaw.” as they continued their conversation, he smiled. ”I’ll come with you guys. I promise I won’t tell anyone!” he said childishly. This apprentice was still very Kit-like, and he often forgot how he should act. Him and his brother Nightpaw were very playful, and sometimes immature apprentices.

Copperkit ran out of the nursery den with Fernkit on her heals. "Come one slow poke!" she yowled and dashed into the reeds by the lake. "Wow, look how big the lake is!" she breathed.

OCC: Copperkit is a full NPC RC cat, so she'll be able to swim.
