Angry Fur Snake? [Solo]

White paws carried a familiar gray pelt all the way to the edge of the territory. He had heard stories of this location from his leader and former mentor. He wanted to check it out and see if it was worth the effort of coming all this way to hunt.

As soon as he neared the location of rocks and slowed his stride. His nose sniffing the air for any familiar scent of usual prey. The occasional bird and rabbit crossed his nose but nothing fresh. Instead another scent stood out more so than others, something he hadn't encountered before... Was it something he could hunt? Carefully the gray tom followed the scent reached a small den tucked up against the rock. Instantly jumping back as a harsh screeching noise hit his ears, followed by a small brown fur snake thing coming out of the hole? What was that?

Ploverpuddle lowered his head trying to get a good sniff of the creature, only for it to lash out at him with sharp teeth that reminded him of rats..

Ploverpuddle recoiled instantly from the harsh bite on his paw. The wound bleeding enough for the tom to be concerned about this being a predator and not something tiny that was easily huntable by the clans' standards. The gray warrior quickly jumped at the creature trying to pin down its small form.

Whatever this thing was, it as very hard to hold on too... It squirmed and wiggled about just like a snake but not as evasive as one... The tom quickly dealt the last bit of damage he could before he released the fur snake, backing off just enough to prepare himself for whatever it was going to do next. He watched carefully as it started making noise and jumping about before attacking.

Ploverpuddle didn't like fighting this thing.. It moved too much it was hard to pin down and land a good hit own... The tom thought he had it for a moment as he lashed out with a paw, but as soon as he did the creature moved out of the way! He let out a growl of frustration, before letting out a yelp as it bite him again!

He was getting weak. He could feel it. How could he lose to such a small creature? He didn't understand in the slightest.. but he wasn't out of the fight yet he still had many things he could try. Maybe if he could stun it, it wouldn't cause any more issue for him! Quickly he grabbed the weasel by what he assumed was scruff and shook it harshly trying to stun it as best as he could. Adding in another attack just before he released it.

He could tell it was starting to get over its stun so he needed to act now. He had too. Using his speed he moved forward his paws coming in and slamming on the Weasel's head, quickly adding in another strike on top of that so he could deal as much damage as he could before things got worse.

As soon as Plover saw that the creature was coming in for another bite he quickly dodged it. He was down to his last bit of energy. He needed to strike now or risk losing to whatever this was! He reached out trying to counter against the creature but it didn't work, the weasel moved out of the way before it bite him again, causing him to run away.
