Ploverpuddle couldn't help but flinch slightly as soon as the other tom had landed on his rear, hoping the landing didn't do anything serious to Clovertwit's tail. The gray warrior was ready to stop the spar right then and there if it came to it but the other made his move again, which showed the older that he was okay to keep going. Ploverpuddle moved forward grasping the silver tom by his scruff before shaking enough to make Clovertwist dizzy but not to do any thing lasting. It was a spar after all.

Almost immediately Clovertwist was halted as a pressure grasped his scruff and held him; before he could wriggle free Ploverpuddle was shaking him, not so hard that it hurt but certainly hard enough to make some sparkles dance in Clovertwist's vision. The silver tabby tried to twist to paw at Ploverpuddle to get his opponent to let go, but he was slightly disoriented and - truth be told - not too particularly concerned about how quickly he got free from the other tom's grasp. "You're worse than a queen at bathing time," Clovertwist teased, remembering the feeling of helplessness in Graybriar's grasp as a tom-kit quite distinctly.
