Silent Frost [Closed]

A lone figure padded along a well-worn path. Stark white fur hid its wearer against the crisp snow that ladened the bushes and grasses of the undergrowth. Firflower's paws pressed perfect prints into the frost. Her eyes and nose focused to the trees looming above. No one was with her on this chilly Leafbare morning. She needed to think. With nary a scrap falling she scaled the closest pine, taking in its musky scent as the fine red powder on the underside of the bark rose to meet her nose. For a moment she sat on a wide branch, watching the needles dance in the breeze. On days like this it would be so easy to think she was the only cat in the world. She took a deep breath and sighed. With cool air in her lungs, she set off.
