Betrayel (Open)

Betrayel. That was all Deerpaw felt. He couldn't believe what had happened after the battle. He wasn't part of it. But the cats who had been there had. And Deerpaw wished he did not hear it at all. So much death. Deerpaw felt himself shake as he laid in the middle of the camp. Deerpaw had always seen the clans as a good place. Nothing bad could ever possibly happen. At least that's what Deerpaw used to think.

Deerpaw's whole world was broken now. The clans weren't a happy place where everybody got along. They were a evil place. They were all murderers. Only a few cats were good. Those were Deerpaw's sibings, his mentor and Murkpelt and Sunstar. He needed to escape. He needed to get his family out of here. He knew he couldn't get Sunstar to come. He knew his father couldn't leave his clan. Sunstar was leader. Foxfire would be a challenge. But maybe he could get his siblings out of here. They could at least be saved from this evil place.

"You clans are evil." Deerpaw muttered out. "Most of you are evil." Deerpaw's mutters became hisses of different emotions. Anger. Betrayel. Grief. Many emotions. He just hated the clans. For doing such evil things.

Wondering in her thoughts, Amberpaw only caught the first few words. "You clans are evil." Amberpaw turned her head to the smaller apprentice. She wasn't so tall, but noticeably taller than most. She didn't really have much trouble, she even liked being tall. She blinked down at the brown tom and slowly made her way over. "Hey, Deerpaw. Is something putting you down?" She tried to ignore the fact that her days in Skyclan were full of blood and claws. The biggest battle she ever fought was a hawk, she wasn't even gonna try to face up against a Shadowclan warrior.

Deerpaw lifted his gaze to see Amberpaw. He sat up lookig at the taller she-cat. In comparison she was huge against him. But everything was huge next to Deerpaw. Deerpaw turned his head away from Amberpaw. "I'm fine." Deerpaw lied. It was clear he was mad.

He turned his head slightly so his eyes could see Amberpaw's expression. He then quickly looked away and got up to his paws, twitching his whiskers angerly.

Amberpaw couldn't help but be startled by his reaction. "Uh, I don't think you're fine." She meowed simply, running to his side. Her mouth hang a bit open, but she was smiling. "I think you need a rest." She purred, nudging his side playfully.
