His claws sunk deeply on his shoulders to keep him down and he slashed the flesh to deal more damage with his hind legs. "Oh, and your clan respects sooooo much the code, don't they? Killing a deputy who was following the Code. Crossing the borders to attack us. In this kind of war, you were the ones who first broke the laws. So why should we follow them? Just so you can beat us again? I don't think so."

Ravenmist yowled in pain she was charged by the SkyClanner. War had broken out, and she was caught off guard by it. Sightless eyes narrowed as she bucked, attempting to get away from her attacker, though the SkyClan she-cat held tight. She was expecting a fight, but not so soon.

Ravenmist is Pinned for 1 more turn.

Foxfire stumbled backwards as he was tackled by the tom, growling as he ended up pinned. He struggled to get his paws beneath him, glaring over his shoulders. "The cats who killed Redwing aren't apart of SkyClan anymore, you can't hold that against us! And we weren't the only ones that crossed the border to attack the other - your cats did that as well! We don't want a fight but you've made it clear that you won't let it go! NOW LET ME GO!" With a snarl, he managed to bring his back feet beneath him, kicking out as he rolled to the side, sending the two crashing to the ground. In the moment, he rolled to his feet - freed from the grapple as he sneered at the tom. "You aren't being high and mighty with your actions - you'll just bringing yourself down to the level you seem to think we are at if anything."

Poppyheart proclaimed his hatred as just, shifting the blame. The Thunderclan deputy said nothing in return as he dug in. This was a battle not chattering at a gathering. His opponent writhed below and he found himself being dispelled, claws carried furnand flesh with them. The bulky tom quickly regained his footing and sought to meet his target once more. This time he reared onto his hind paws and let out a low rumble. With each heavy blow, unsheathed claws battered the sides of the red warrior's face.

Beartooth used upright front paws dealing 16 damage and using 20 stamina.

The tom growled frustrated when the cat accomplish to escape from his pin. He turned his body to face and once again, reared up on his hind legs while saying: "They were in your clan when they killed Redwing! And your leader did nothing! Nor your clanmates said a word of who they were, their names. You're all to blame. You... were the one who let them go free." He dropped his body on top of the deputy, slashing the tom's flesh with his unsheathed claws. No matter how much rationality the other deputy wanted to put on him, the stubborn cat wasn't going to change his mind.

Ferretnose kept her grip through the she-cat's tossing and heaving. Out of the corner of her good eye, she caught a glimpse of Beartooth sending a cocky opponent to the ground. Her heart lurched. She shut her eyes tightly, trying to steady her breathing and practically roaring as she scored the blind she-cat's flanks with her claws.

The russet-and-white tom spat furiously at the searing hot pain blasting through his face at each swift strike of his opponent's paws. He shook his head, trying to clear away the dizziness that came with it, and dived underneath the deputy while he was still reared up on his hind legs. He pummeled and scratched at the exposed underbelly, leaping out of the way once Beartooth fell back down to all fours.

Foxfire grimaced as he felt the weight of claws on him again, he threw himself to the ground, rolling onto his back as he lashed out with his claws before he moved to scramble away. He pulled himself to his paws, taking some careful steps back as he glared at the deputy. "Spottedstar did announce their name at the Gathering, or were you to distracted glaring at me to pay attention?" he retorted, breathing a bit heavy. He had to be more careful, he couldn't face the strength of the ShadowClan deputy and despite their banter...He was rather sure he was doing nothing but making him more angry. But he himself was rather peeved. This tom clearly only wanted to hear what he wanted, there was no reason in trying to...Well, reason with him. He took a slight step back, eyes searching for an opening of some sort to

Feeling the pain to his soft underbelly, the Thunderclanner fell back into all fours with a rusty hiss. He needed to slow his opponent. The slimmer cat held less power, but greater speed. As he landed next to the tom, Beartooth rounded quickly and found the agitated tail of Poppyheart. Sinking his fangs in, Beartooth yanked the warrior's tail, snapping it back with as much force as he could.

Beartooth used tail yank on Poppyheart, dealing 9 damage and using 10 stamina. Poppyheart is stunned for one turn.

"Then why didn't he say it when Thornstar went to your camp, huh? Just to look honourable in front of the other clans yet not when Shadowclan directly requested it? Do you know what your leader is? A fake."

For a moment, Oakstar believed that the spar between the two leaders would go fine. It would relieve tensions and they could continue to speak of peaceful solutions. Then he saw the brown tabby deputy lunge.
"LYNXSCAR!" He called, running over to stop the two warring deputies as he was run into himself by another ShadowClan cat. He growled as his world spun around him, amber gaze turning to Asterstrike with a cutting glare.

"So, this is the respect you show your own leader? She is dueling on behalf of ShadowClan, and instead you follow a kit straight into war.” He glared at Asterstrike, as if the tom could give him any answer that was satisfactory.

Oakstar was stunned this turn.

Foxfire leaped backwards as the tom tried to slash at him, breathing somewhat heavily as he opened his mouth to say something - but stopped when Lynxscar called Spottedstar a fake. There was a heavy silence as Foxfire froze, staring at him...Before a sudden roar of rage escaped his throat, billowing out as he threw himself forward with claws outstretched - not willing to let the deputy slander Spottedstar's name like that. Spottedstar was more noble that this tom would ever be - a proper leader who wasn't willing to start bloodshed when it wasn't needed. Any attempt to reason with Lynxscar was the furthest thing from Foxfire's thoughts - he could barely reason with himself now.

Foxfire used Dodge and Fight, costing 15 stamina, negating the last damage. Foxfire succeeded to counterattack, dealing 8 damage to Lynxscar.
