A Blooming Flower [Open]

A small white blurr came tumbling from the nursery and finally stilled a tail length from the entrance. The small white she-cat that was the blurr stilled ungracefully landing at an awkward angle. All she knew is that she was upside down and her bottom felt like it was up in the air. The little she-kit righted herself before she sneezed rather loudly, after all she had collected a bunch of dust in her nose from the tumble. Flowerkit sniffed before her bright blue eyes turned back to the camp around her. It was so big! The trees too! Oh man she was so ready to be an apprentice!

It had become a habit of Foxkit to sleep close to the nursery's entrance as he could...A small reminder that soon he would become an apprentice and be out of here! He was done with the queens fussing over him, he was ready to be a real warrior. He was curled up tightly into a ball, not asleep but feeling to lazy to actually get up...That was until his ears perked as one his denmates raced past him and more or less just tumbled through the entrance.

He raised his head, barely seeing the tail tip of Flowerkit as she disappeared into the camp clearing. He sat there for a few seconds, before he gave himself a small shrug and pushed himself to his paws and followed after her with a curious whisker twitch. He stepped up next to her, easily noticing the wonder in her eyes as she scanned the camp. "Is this your first time out of the nursery?" he asked, trying to recall if he had seen her venture outside of the den before... "Its pretty cool out here, isn't it? Way better then being in that stuffy den," he added, sticking his tongue out for flavor as he shook his head.

Flowerkit nodded eagerly in answer to both of his questions. "Yeah! So much better than the nursery!" She answered. The excitement was very clear in her tone. She stood and shook out the dust in her fur, trying her best to return it back to the white it was a moment before she tumbled out of the nursery. The resulting dust only caused her to sneeze again but she didn't seem fazed by it. "So what all is out here?" She asked the older kit.

Foxkit took a slight step to the side as Flowerkit gave a good shake of her pelt, scattering dust into the air around her before she let out sneeze. The kit watched her with an amused twitch of his whiskers, before he gave a scan around the camp as he tried to think of what to point out. "Well....Over there we got the fresh kill pile," he meowed, dipping his head in the direction of where it laid hidden in some foliage. His eyes however came to land on the rock slab that made the cover of the medicine cat den. "Oh! Over there is the medicine cat den! I...Uh, really like to climb and sit on the rock that covers it," he admitted. Perhaps it was the SkyClan blood but he had always had a desire to climb...But he always had trouble with trees and so had simply stuck with clambering up the medicine cat den, even if it was perhaps frowned upon.

Oh yeah the fresh-kill pile! She had remembered seeing her mom disappear from the nursery and bring back something one time. It smelled really good but she wasn't allowed to eat it at the time. She stared at it for a moment watching a warrior place something in there before turning her head to follow where Foxkit was pointing out next. The stone looked like it was fun to climb so she couldn't blame him for that urge. "It looks really fun to climb! Maybe even lay on." The small she-kit said. Climbing... She wanted to climb... "Can we climb it now?" She asked the older tom.

Foxkit blinked at Flowerkit's request, slowly turning his gaze away from the stone to look at her. "Oh," he said, trying to think of a response. Personality, he would love to climb the rock but...He also didn't want to get into all that much trouble, mostly when he was so close to becoming an apprentice. But he also couldn't really say no to her as a trouble-making smirk flickered onto his face. 'Yeah, sure! I don't see why not, come on!" he urged, turning as he headed toward the rock. He kept an eye out, praying that no warriors were looking their way as he crouched and sprung easily onto the base of the rock, turning to look at Flowerkit. "Jump up! I believe in you!" he meowed, crouching on the rock to stay low and out of sight, ready to help Flowerkit get up onto the rock if she couldn't make the jump herself.

Flowerkit hadn't noticed the look on the tom's face that signified they might get into trouble. She just thought it was something they could do, so she was going to. The mostly white kit followed behind the tom, glee lighting up her blue eyes. As soon as he jumped up the she-kit glanced around for a moment before she bunched up her back muscles and sprung forward. She slipped a little bit before fully making her way up. A bright look sat on her face as she realized she was on the rock. "I did it!"

Foxkit stumbled back a bit as Flowerkit joined him up on the rock, surprise flickering in his eyes before get let out an amused purr. "Look at you! Natural jumper, huh?" he teased as he turned, slowly padding up the incline toward the top of the rock. "Now come on! From up here, we get a great view of the camp! You can see almost everything," he meowed, trying to stay low to the surface of the rock to make himself less noticeable.
