Hawkkit's Apprentice Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Willow Branch for a clan meeting!" As the cry resounded throughout RiverClan camp, cats turned, their gazes drawn to the great willow tree at the center of the island. Scorchclaw stood tall atop the Willow Branch, his green eyes glimmering faintly in the shadows of the weeping boughs about him. The time had come for another apprentice ceremony. This time, a young tom from Hailsong's latest litter would be the honored individual. The deputy knew his name―Hawkkit. RiverClan was growing again, their ranks swelling with young cats full of potential. As long as apprentice ceremonies continued to be carried out, their clan would continue to be strong.
