Foxkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Mistyrain brushed a few light crystals of snow from her muzzle with one small paw. Sitting up straight, high on the Tallbranch, she called out to gather SkyClan together. "Let all cats old enough to climb a tree gather beneath the Tallbranch for a Clan meeting!" Today, she had the privilege of naming another apprentice. Foxkit was now 6 moons old and seemed quite capable of taking on apprentice duties.

Foxkit raced past his siblings Leafkit, Larkkit, and Ashkit. A meeting! His apprentice ceremony as soon. Wsaa this it?!

"Foxkit, please step forward. You have reached the age of 6 moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed." The excitable kit had sprinted out of the nursery, as fast as a bird, to Mistyrain's amusement. Now, he stood expectantly before her. "From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Foxpaw. Tinystar will be your mentor. I know that he will teach you well in the ways of SkyClan and will pass on to you everything that he can." She nodded to Tinystar with a smile, and began to call out Foxpaw's name in congratulations.

Making his way over to his new apprentice, who was already taller than him, he stretched up his neck and touched noses with the apprentice. "Training starts tomorrow," the abnormally short leader purred with a smile.
