In a poll consisting of 40 total votes, three official slots won by a total of 16 votes- thus,
the new slot limit on WCC shall be three characters starting in the very near future. Elder/Queen slots will no longer be available, due to the fact that the incessant binning of characters in these ranks greatly diminished their worth and point of such ranks. If you wish to have a character hold the rank of Elder/Queen, you can no longer use special slots for them and they must instead be counted among your official three slots.
Now, onto the issue that everybody's been wielding hammers over; the concept of Clan caps. Why did Staff initially impose Clan caps in the first place? For a variety of purposes, yet just mainly due to the fact that the general imbalance between the Clans were due in part to the fact that several users would often place every slot they had into a single Clan, without making an effort to try and branch out to other Clans (while potentially boosting that Clan's numbers in the process). With a grand total of eight potential slots, you can see why several people tossing their eight slots into a single Clan could cause numerous problems when dealing with the issue of inactive characters and crazy number differences between the Clans.
However, three slots is quite different than eight. As long as people are willing to make a conscious effort to refraining from stacking all of their characters into a single Clan and being responsible about Clan numbers (i.e. not placing two cats into ThunderClan whenever it's ahead of another Clan by a great portion) Staff is willing to remove the Clan cap permitting that our Clans don't go absolutely crazy with numbers again.
