Splotchkit's Apprentice Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough the catch their own prey gather beneath the Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!" His sharp blue eyes kept a lookout for the calico that was to be apprenticed today.

The kit in question was already in the center of the clearing, entire body freshly groomed. Her ears flickering as the clan gathered around, tail kicking up any dirt behind her. Splotchkit was one step closer to being a warrior. Though, in her mind--Splotchkit knew she had nothing more to learn! She was certain she was ready to be a warrior! That being said, apparently becoming an apprentice was something that had to be done.

Needless to say, she wasn't excited about that. But! She'd be willing to do anything for her dreams.

"Splotchkit, step forward." His neutral gaze was on the calico. "You have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. Splotchkit, from this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you shall be known as Splotchpaw. Minnowcall will be your mentor. I'm sure she will pass down all that she knows to you."

Minnowcall walked up to her newly named apprentice and touched noses with her. She smiled at Splotchpaw "I look forward to training you Splotchpaw" she purred.

Whiskers quivering with excitement, the newly named apprentice bounded over to her mentor, tail high. "What are we gonna do first?" She mewed hastily touching noses and blue eyes eager to begin.
