The Little Shaggy Bloodlets(open to regime after kits post)

Xuexi had been with the past day or two staying in a secluded area of the abandoned barn. Her belly round with kits. She knew it was any day that they would be born and she just awaited on when it happened so she could get moving again. Soon she felt a sharp pain and let out a breif but sharp yowl of pain.

Timeskip (cause guess who is lazy on that end this girl):

Soon 6 kits laid at her side two stillborns which stung painfully for a moment but she didn't dwell on it. She had four healthy kits, 3 she kits and a tom all healthy. She decided it best to try and name them and let Shag decide if he liked the names after. Her gaze moved to the biggest kit a dilute russet and soft gray she kit with white paws. She thought for a moment on the name before she mewed"you will be Lengxue...."Her gaze then drifted to the next she cat which was a soft russet tabby she kit and she smiled breifly"Mao will be your name my little one"She mewed nuzzling the kit before her amber gaze flicked to the tom kit. He looked painfully like her father and like her brother. She closed her eyes for a moment as she remembered her father leaving her."your name my strong little fighter will be Wuqi"She mewed softly before her gaze moved to the last kit whom looked like her except with more white on her with a small smile"I will name you Rift"She mewed quietly.


Tumeskip #2

It was a few days later the kits had finally opened their eyes and were wondering around. Xuexi was thrilled because soon she could start training them grooming thsm to be the perfect warriors. She let them wonder as long as they didn't leave the barn or go in the upper loft.

Lengxue the curly furred she kit moved away from her other siblings ready to explore her golden amber eyes still slightly stained with blue from being a kit shined eagerly at the thought of exploring. She wondered off a bit farther then her siblings happily throwing about strands of hay and leaping for them

Rift darted around her mother and siblings, her short kit legs moving in a blur as she poked at everything she possibly could. A movement caught the edge of her vision, and she whipped around, darting past Lengxue and leaping to catch a piece of straw the other had thrown up into the air. Golden motes of dusty light seemed to dance around her as she whirled, trying to catch it. For a moment she felt unstoppable as her paws clapped together, catching the piece of dried grass. Then her legs got caught on themselves and she landed in a sprawling heap.
Sneezing, she blinked up at the ceiling, watching the rays of light streaming through the occasional hole and onto the loft above. Hmm.... Still lying on the ground, her eyes darted over to where her mother sat, trying to determine whether she was watching or not. She sneezed again, drawing herself up into a sitting position before getting up and shaking out her pelt. Quietly, and as casually as a kit possibly could, she wandered over to some weird dusty thing that led up above. Digging her claws into the wood, she began to sneak her way up.
(ooc: we're not supposed to wait for Shag, right?)

To the little she-kit who had been born just a few days ago, the world of the barn was almost overwhelming. Mao stumbled after her littermates, struggling to keep up with the energy Lengxue and Rift displayed. Her kit-blue gaze was wide with curiosity. One moment, she would be carefully prodding the hay that Xuexi lay in; the next, she was following a scent trail across the ground. There was so much to take in, and so much to do. Unlike the other kits, Mao was more hesitant to explore. Her surroundings were a lot to take in at once. She would be frightened, were it not for Xuexi's comforting presence. The knowledge that her mother was watching over her eased her spirits. Nothing bad would happen to her when Xuexi was around.

Tabby fur flashed at the corner of Mao's field of vision, and she spun around. With a start, she found one of her littermates halfway up to the loft. "Rift!" She squeaked out. "Where're you going?" Abandoning her own investigations, she scampered over. "Can I come with you?" Eyes sparkling with innocence, she gazed up at the other kit.

Xuexi stood slowly only Wuqi.remained at her side at least for a moment but she seen where Mao ane Rift vanished over to"Mao! Rift! Don't go up there"She called not wanting thwm to get up there and fall and get hurt.

Lengxue looked to where her siblings were for a brief moment before she moved scampering past cats playing by herself.

Shag stepped towards his mate, gazing proudly at his four new children. He sat down next to Xuexi. "There so beautiful." he meowed. "Your parents- An, and Shade... Do you think that they felt like this?" As he spoke, for the first time in moons, he smiled.

OOC: Oof. I probably should've posted sooner! Sorry!

Rift's paw paused halfway up to the next spot as a squeak came from behind her. Twisting her neck around, she saw Mao scampering up to the base of her climbing spot, a hopeful look on her face. "Shh!" Rift hissed as she peered at where their mother was sitting. Her eyes widened as Xuexi stood up, a concerned look on her face, and gestured violently at the other kit with her free paw.
"Hurry! Before she catches us!" A tingle ran down her spine, and she grinned down at her sister a moment before continuing to scramble up, going as fast as her little legs would carry her.

Wolf padded toward Xeuxi and her kits, a warm smile on her face, despite her hidden discomfort. "How are you, Xeuxi? Your kits are beautiful." Her gaze flicked toward Lengxue momentarily as she padded off. "Can I get you anything? Or keep the kits busy?" She had half a mind to tell the kits about their grandfather and the things he had done, but quickly decided against it. She could trust no one here, but she had to show loyalty till the end, when she would finally flee this place. Go back home to WindClan. To Graybriar. She flicked her tail, smiling gently as she watched Rift and Mao disappear into the rafters.

Xuexi saw them go up to the rafters and she sighed some but before she could speak to the kits again her mate Shag came over with a small smile she said"I would think they did"She purred some but then she looked to Wolf and flicked her tail"could you keep them busy I don't want them getting hurt"She mewed flicking her tail quietly looking to Rift and Mao.

Lengxue played quietly smiling some as she jumped up catching the hay straw as she played by herself unaware of what her siblings were doing.

Wuqi grinned as he watched his siblings chase each other, play with straw and even climb up the walls. He loved them all to pieces, but didn’t really know if he wanted to join them. He considered it for a moment, before finally deciding that it didn’t make much of a difference whether he joined or not. So, he did the only logical thing to do, and that was jump into the largest pile of straw that he could find. He laughed out loud, the sound carrying throughout the barn as his head popped up above the mountain of straw.

Wolf laughed quietly before hauling her self up into the rafters after Rift and Mao. She knew herself, from how she was as a kit, that telling them no would only make them want to do it more. She figured that she would just follow them and stick close enough to grab them if they did slip. "Exploring, little fighters? Let me come with you." She balanced herself on a rafter, padding after them.

Rift looked behind as she reached the top, spotting a dappled white she-cat she'd occasionally seen from a distance coming up. "You'll never catch me!" She yowled over her back as she jumped from rafter to rafter, digging her claws in and pushing as hard as she could with her back legs. A mrrow escaped her mouth as she leapt again, stumbling and almost tipping over the edge, claws digging hard into the wood.
Wide golden eyes looked at the floor of the barn below, seeing her littermates tossing straw around and causing general mayhem before she pulled back from the edge. For a moment, she balanced there, looking back at Mao and the other she-cat, before leaping again, laughing.
Her claws didn't quite catch on the next rafter, and she scrabbled for a moment, trying to get a foothold.
Then she began slipping.

Wolf's blue eyes widened. Her mind hardly processed what she was doing as she shot across the rafters, her inborn WindClan speed and SkyClan comfort in high places kicking in with her instincts. Thank you, Graybriar, Badgerthorn. She streaked, high up, leaping from thin ledge to thin ledge with extraordinary precision and confidence, until she landed on the rafter where Rift was slipping. Just as the kit finally lost her grip, Wolf reached down and grabbed Rift's scruff, before leaping down from rafter to rafter. Finally reaching the ground, she set Xeuxi's kit down, panting as the realization of what she had just done came down upon her. She smiled momentarily, proud of her Clan heritage, before remembering Mao. She glared sternly at Rift. "Get back to your mother. No more jumping around on the rafters." She then leaped back up for Mao.

Rift let out a yelp as something caught her scruff and then carried her back down to the ground like a piece of prey. Struggling, she tried to wriggle free as her captor carried her away from the rafters. But the cat didn't let go of her until she was right back where she started.
She sagged as she was placed back down on the ground and told to go back to her mother, apparently accepting her fate. Watching as the older she-cat started to leap back up for her sister, she couldn't help but notice her tail twitching slightly. Without thinking, she leaped at it, attempting to pin it between her forepaws.
"For the Regime!"

Wolf growled softly, flicking her tail up out of reach as she grabbed Mao's scruff and brought her down. "If you weren't Xeuxi's kits you would have your ears clawed right now." She let Mao go, but grabbed Rift again, figuring she would be the most likely to run, as she padded back to Xeuxi. "Stay. I mean it." She put the kit down by her mother's side.

For the second time in barely a few heartbeats, Rift found herself getting carried somewhere she didn't want to. However, this time, at the mention of clawed ears, she stopped struggling and hung meekly in the other cat's jaws until she was deposited near her mother.
Blinking up at the other she-cat, Rift remembered how she'd grabbed her almost as soon as she started slipping, even though the kit had been quite a few rafters over. "Who are you?" She blinked as sweetly as she could, making her eyes as big as possible and looking as innocent as any newly born kit. "How did you catch me?"
