Blossoming Mornings(open)

Blossomkit nervously poked her head out of the nursery of where she now called home. The little dilute ginger and brown kitten was glad to be able to call this place home. Ever since she joined with the help of Swiftstep she started to forgot more and more about what happened before she came. Eventually her name changed from Jem to Blossomkit thanks to a caring queen whom took her in. Now the apprentice aged kit crept from the nursery nervously almost timidly. It wasn't a new sight to see for her but it was one of comfort of home now. She flicked an ear quietly looking around with pale grass green eyes her gaze caught a leaf and tried to sneak up on it before leapting sending the leaf into the air.

Barleytuft had always adored kits. When he himself was a kit, he had always been friends to the youngest litters, always priding himself in being one of the first to guide the little ones around camp to learn about their new home. As an apprentice his favourite task had been to help the queens by cleaning out the nursery, helping them with fleas and ticks, and just kit-sitting for a while. The young warrior would have made a wonderful queen in another life; as it was, he was simply a loving tom.

His light amber eyes caught sight of a kit creeping from the nursery, and he narrowed his eyes in a friendly fashion as he moved towards her to mew encouragingly, "That was a wonderful pounce; it must be nice to stretch your legs." As he examined the little she-kit, he realized that he recognized her though he didn't know her; she was the Clanless kit that his former mentor had rescued. "I'm Barleytuft. What's your name?"
