Fallowpaw had been on the verge of hissing a poisonous, taunting response when another cat sent her sprawling. A warrior had barreled into her at full force, knocking her breath away. I could stop fighting now. The thought crossed her mind for a tiny, fraction of a second as she lay, exposed, on the ground. But as quickly as it had come, the she-cat chased the fleeting thought away. She was going to make these forest cats understand just how important Lichenmask truly was to them. She leapt to her feet, glaring directly into Brindlestar's eyes. "You're making a mistake," she snarled. "A very, very big mistake." But as she tensed her muscles, prepared to land a powerful blow that would take the life of Brindlestar's precious daughter, something took her by surprise. A quick, well-timed attack slammed Fallowpaw's head into the ground. Her head tilted to the side, eyes wide with horror as the world blurred. She could barely make out Brindlestar's angry face, and the faint shapes of her other attackers. "H-help," she stuttered softly as her eyelids slid shut.
Hissing at the exile, Mistyrain reared up as high as her small size would allow, and brought both paws down with all the force she could muster. She smashed against his's head with a sickening thud, knocking him to the ground. She backed up, satisfied that he was subdued, or dead. A deep frown still creased her face, but in surveying the battlefield she could tell that the Clan cats were slowly overcoming the exiles. | EDIT: fixed move mistake
Elmpaw steadied himself after landing back on his feet, grateful to see Swiftstep was okay. This Exile was surprisingly strong but surely three Clan cats were more than enough to take down one measly Exile. The smell of smoke and burnt fur filled his nostrils suddenly and he coughed, blinking tears away at the sting in the air. Focus. There's no time for mistakes. The three-legged tom puffed up his short fur again, bunched up his lean body, and sprang at Stonepaw again, claws unsheathed. He slammed into the tom and raked a front paw across his chest, his face twisted into a snarl of rage. This was for Brindlestar. This was for WindClan.

| Aspenstrike watched as his brother fell to the paws of an Exile. He yowled with anger, yet knew that the Exile would be defeated swiftly. His green eyes scanned the clearing, watching his son bravely take on his father. Suddenly he charged towards a dark brown Exile, extending his claws and tackling him momentarily before backing away into a more defensive stance.

(ooc): okay, i read the stuff and I think it is Froststone's turn to post since crowfur had posted being stunned)
Froststone reeled back from the blows. He felt pain coming from wounds on his face and chest, blood too. No matter, this Exile would die tonight. He felt no guilt that Brushgaze had kits, she chose this path. She could always run with them. Running might be preferable to the death she would receive if she stayed. The shorter tom reared up, lashing his claws out at her just as she had done to him.
Froststone used "Rear up to Slash" on Brushgaze, dealing 17 damage and costing 15 stamina.

The large apprentice had spotted another opponent to fight, one surrounded by his own clanmates. He broke into a sprint, using his shoulder to ram the Exile and knock him to the ground. He hopped backward incase Stonepaw would try to catch him with his claws. He smiled inwardly at the bloody scene. This was fun.

| "You all think you stand a chance against me? Flamewish, don't you go being a hypocrite. And Icepaw, come help your dad take out these weaklings." Hillfire knew he was outnumbered. While he realized he was at the disadvantage, there was not a moment where he doubted that he would win. Ignoring the fact that his son was there, he tried to concentrate on the warriors. He had no idea who the ShadowClan warrior was, but knew it would be better to continue attacking Flamewish. She was the traitor after all, and it would be easier to take on the other guy with her dead. Facing the former ThunderClanner, he reared up onto his hind legs. This was an attack he had never really learned how to do, but that night it just came naturally to him. Very suddenly, he transition all of his weight into his front paws, bringing them down on top of his former clanmate's head. As her head smashed into the ground, he for a second thought he had taken her out, but she still seemed to have a little bit of energy left in her.
Hillfire used Upright Lock on Flamewish, dealing 17 damage and costing 25 stamina.

Flamewish: 4/45 140/160 ------------------------ Swoopnose hissed as Snowdrop's claws ripped through the fur on his muzzle, even though the pain didn't really register. Too far into the zone to feel anything except a need to keep fighting until he won, he jumped back at his opponent, barely even noticing the cats fighting beside him. This traitor would never win. Repeating a move he had made earlier, he dove beneath the white she-cat, scraping repeatedly at her stomach. Blood pooled on his claws and splattered on the ground, and he jumped back out, ready to keep fighting. All thought gone, he only listened to the most primitive of instincts. This fight needed to be won.

| His father? The apprentice hadn't realized that Icepaw was this crazy cats son. He felt a pang of sadness for the tom who had to watch his kin become something so destructive. Sparkpaw didn't know much overall about the dispute between the exiles and the clans but he knew that Lichenmask wanted to hurt the cats he cared about and that was all he needed. Before the calico tom attacked, Hillfire's words echoed in his head and he couldn't stop himself from saying, "Well, I didn't think I stood a chance against that other cat. And now she's passed out. So, I think I'll try my luck here. Riverclan won't be taken down by you rot-brain!"
As another yowl broke from the young cat's throat, he charged forward with outstretched claws. His frame allowed him to dip below the former warrior's stomach and lash out with sharp claws. Truth be told, Sparkpaw had no idea what he was doing. But he remembered his mentor mentioning the weakness of the stomach once. And with other cats attacking Hillfire it was hard to spring onto him as he had done with the she-cat before. Here was to hoping he could make himself useful. Once the blood soaked his claws, Sparkpaw jumped back to stand next to Icepaw. He shot the other cat a sympathetic yet determined look. They would fight this together. Even with his crazy father, there were still cats in Riverclan who cared for him. And he would not let his denmate forget that in the heat of battle.

As Darkpaw landed a final, calculated blow, Bearpaw felt the last of his strength fade. While he wanted to keep fighting, keep slashing away with those awesome paws, there was no way he could continue battling. His weight briefly collapsed to the ground in an instant that he was not prepared for. This was the first time he was fallen in battle. It was a helpless feeling. One he hoped to never feel again. Knowing that Gladepaw had the leader by her side was the only reassurance. His green eyes attempted to focus on Darkpaw for a moment before he hauled himself up onto his feet and stumbled over to where the medicine cats had been positioned. Bearpaw was no use now. All he could do was hope the others would be able to manage. |

| Falcongaze's words were all nonsense to Darkflower, he'd been there with Jaysong from the start, if it was his home he wouldn't of left. Her ears flickered as Elmcloud spoke, but she wasn't really paying much mind, more focused on the battle at hand. "You are a fool, Falcongaze. SkyClan ceased being your home when you and your mate chose the wrong side." she growled. | Leopardstar's wide hazel eyes narrowed slightly as Gladepaw dashed forward and landed the final killing blow to Darkpaw, watching as the young tom crumpled to the ground, forever still. For a moment he wanted to scold the apprentice, to ask her if she really thought death had been necessary...but he came to the realization that these cats would not show them the same mercy the kind-hearted leader wanted to give them. They had willingly followed a spawn of the Dark Forest, and their innocent minds had been poisoned by his heartless propaganda; in the end, it might have been a sort of mercy after all. With a brief approving nod at Gladepaw, the golden-pelted leader leaped back into the fray, eyes alert for another traitor to battle. His paw caught though on the body of a tom slumped on the ground, an exile clearly too injured to go on. Regaining his balance, Leopardstar's tail-tip flicked restlessly as he contemplated what to do. Vividly, he remembered Rockthorn, how the tom who had caused endless destruction to the forest had lain beneath his claws, only to be spared by the thought that maybe, somehow, he could be restored to his former self.
If a lone ThunderClan warrior can cause that much pain and suffering...what could this cat do under the orders of a leader with the power to summon the elements and slay leaders with one strike?
His pupils narrowing with resolve, Leopardstar lifted a bloodstained paw and swiped it through the air, slashing the former WindClan warrior's throat is one fell swoop. As the stony-gray tabby's life began to drain away, the ThunderClan leader squared his shoulders and dashed away, vanishing from view into the crowd. StarClan...forgive me.

| He was lost in the darkness, unable to see where he should go. The physical pain was gone yet his troubled mind kept pulling him down, as a weight he could hardly carry. Was he dead? Where was he in the first place? Jaystar opened his green eyes but it was all too dark. It was nothing like the Starclan he remembered. Was it really true? The stars had abandoned him? However, a light showed up at the horizon. It was weak and barely visible but he could see it.
The large tom took a step forward, doubtful. For a second, the tom feared he was in the Dark Forest but, slowly, small lights showed up on the dark floor, surrounding his paws as the light approached him. This was Starclan... but it was dark as the sky itself. What had happened here? Was this really Lichenmask's power or something from Dark Forest itself?
"Jaystar..." That voice... The small dot of light finally took the form of a smaller, brown siamese she-cat, his former apprentice. Her fur looked less bright than the last time he saw her. The leader looked away from her, angry and sad. He was not only defeated but the truth of his mother was too much for him. Starclan probably didn't want him as the leader of Riverclan now. Not after his origins... not after what he did with Goldeneye. But, for his surprise, the Starclan she-cat pressed her head into the fur of his chest and neck, affectionately. Tears wanted to fall off his eyes as the warmth presence of the young cat relieved some of his pain. "Why... why are you doing this? Why has Starclan disappeared, Vixenstep? Do they hate us... do they hate me for what I did? For what I am?" She muttered with a shaky voice.
The smaller RiverClanner didn't move and just stay still as she spoke with a quiet voice. It almost sounded like she was far, far away from here. "Jaystar, do you remember what I gave you with my life? I can't say much but the forest is facing a great darkness but that is no bigger than the one inside your chest... The truth is painful and confusing, but your past, your parents... they don't define what you are. Use your clear-mind to find the lightness again... Riverclan needs their leader back, with tainted blood or not... with his flaws and virtues. That's what you taught me." Jaystar wanted t ask her so many questions about Lichenmask, about why Ivystar could be allowed in Starclan after what she did but Vixenstep slowly started to fade away, mixing her light with the darkness around her. Jaystar looked into her eyes, confused, lost and in pain. She pressed her nose with his and that painful energy filled every inch of his body again. He was going to resurrect soon... "Don't forget your duty and make amends for your clan. The answers you seek will be answered if you defeat Lichenmask and his group... Goodbye..." And with those last words, the large tom fell into a turbulent void that tossed him out of that place.
When he opened his green eyes again, the tom could feel how a cat was carrying him away from the flames. Silverfang noticed a movement from her leader and she stopped grabbing his scruff. The scarred warrior looked into his leader's eyes, checking he was okay. "Jaystar! You're back! I found you near to fire and you could lose more lives... I simply couldn't... let you die because of me..." She mewed lowering her head but the tom shook his head as he stood up slowly, feeling his energies back again. "Thank you... there's no time for blame, Silverfang. There's a war to fight. Go and help the others... I've to return before its too late..."

Flamewish hissed, struggling to stay consious. She swiped but missed. "No. I don't think I can beat you. But don't expect to win, either. I know you'll beat me. Any other time, I'd just stop fighting. But now... Seeing what you can and want to do... Knowing what would probably come next..." She glanced at the fire and at Jaystar. He seemed to be shaken, as if he'd died. That... Wasn't good. She glared back at Hillfire. "Well, I can't afford not to care anymore." She took a battle stance, determined to stay in battle. "So I'm giving it my all. Go ahead and kill me. But you'll be just as bad as I am." She snarled. "You're a coward, Hillfire." He was avoiding fighting his son, throwing empty insults. | Falcongaze's lips curled into a sneer as he glared at the cats attacking him. Wounds bled across his body onto the ground. A cough broke free of his throat as he took the brief respite for what it was and launched at Darkflower with outstretched claws to rake at her face, neck and chest.
"You say that, yet look at what our leader has done. What he has accomplished, can any cat say they have done better?" He snarled. His pelt spiked and furious until his eyes saw it. The world seemed to fade away as he stared at the battered calico body. It was several tail lengths away. The brawling cats around it barely to seemed to notice. His heart sank in his chest. | Watching her newfound comrade fall made Spiderfur’s stomach turn. They’d beat him, right? This wouldn’t be like the battle with the Dark Forest. The Exiles and their allies could be defeated. Time slowed as she watched Mistyrain crash down on Rockjaw with powerful paws. Was he still breathing? She watched his chest, but her vision wasn’t steady enough in the moment to be able to tell. Deciding to to look any longer, she moved to pick up Lightstep by his scruff. ‘That’s RiverClan scent alright.’ Her eyes watered at the powerful smell of fish. The old warrior quite literally dragged him towards where she knew the medicine cats were hiding out, her neck aching at the weight. How could one cat be this heavy? She wasn’t fast enough though to avoid seeing ThunderClan’s spotted leader swoop in and deliver a final, lethal blow to the exiled tom. With her eyes wide and her tail tucked between her legs, she found Lightstep to be a bit easier to carry after that.
Intense dread lingered in the back of the young warrior’s mind. Something was terribly, terribly off. Firflower kept in the fight, unable to pick out why she felt the intense unease and seeing something as immaterial as a feeling to back off. Following Nightstorm’s lead, she leaped onto the white she-cat with outstretched paws, but the landing made a chill go down her spine. One back paw landed on the Exile’s belly, which felt oddly familiar, and her right front… on Snowdrop’s bleeding head. She stepped off slowly, bright blue eyes wide and her fur rising until it was on-end. Did she kill her? Though, she still had another question she could barely put to words in her own head. One shaking paw moved to Snowdrop’s blood-soaked stomach, pressing into it with far more care than what was appropriate on the battlefield to an opponent. A lump formed in her throat as her fear was realized. Her belly felt strange because Firflower had been in the same situation not too long ago. Suddenly she saw herself, bloodied and dying on the ground, her kits with Cloudroar still unborn as this she-cat’s were. Wanting to run and yet unable to move a single hair, she felt a surge of emotion that forced her to collapse where she stood, her breath coming fast and ragged. ‘What have I done?’

| Silverfang didn't take the time to clean the blood of her paws. The adrenaline of the battle was taking control over her one more time and all she could think was that she had to stop this battle and end all those Exiles that were so close to being defeated.

Beetlemask was getting tired... they were so many and he wasn't invincible. He looked around, trying to see how the battle was going for the Exiles just to see how a grey and white warrior slashed the flesh of his mate. The tom let out a yowl of panic and anger and without minding his opponents, he rushed to Snowdrop, scared.
He stood up over her, in a protective way. His claws were unsheathed and his blue eyes looked at the clan cats with fire inside of them. "STAY AWAY FROM HER OR I'LL RIP OFF YOUR EYES!" He shouted, bleeding a lot. He couldn't let them hurt her or she would die... he couldn't lose her... They were to live happily once again in the clans. That was the plan, wasn't it?!

| "N-No!" Dustcloud's voice rang out, crackly and all that jazz. Birdflight's eye had been taken! She had to avenge her eyeball. She ran up to Aspenpaw, did a bing-bang-boom-pow, and it hurt.
Dustcloud used Rear-Up to Slash, dealing -17 Damage and using -15 Stamina Points.

ooc; please do the thing in your next post, if possible, Rainy ;)
Gingerstripe! Fallowpaw was on his heels immediately, scanning over the worst of her wounds. She'd rushed into the fray without a second thought, dodging past the multitude of battles happening around her. Although she was facing inner turmoil, Dewshine seemed okay, physically. Gingerstripe could use a patch-up, though. Pressing the cobwebs and poultice she'd snagged before she ran into the deepest of his wounds, she prayed that his wounds would heal quickly and that they wouldn't pester him if he had to fight again.
Fallowpaw used Minor Heal, dealing +3 HP and using -10 Stamina Points.
