Blackkit did not frequently exit the safety of the den - he wasn't quite sure he was ready to observe the other, giant cats as they went about with their business. Not that he wasn't curious, he just... wasn't at that stage yet. Unlike a lot of the other kits, it seemed, who appeared to have a great deal of enthusiasm for what the future could potentially hold for them. The young tom yawned and stretched his paws out, light gaze following the shadows of cats moving within the nursery, and ears listening to the rustling of those passing by outside. As his eyes traced the figures, they landed on one kit in particular who was sneaking toward the den's exit. He couldn't quite make out the expression of the other kit (their back was turned to him), but Blackkit wondered what he was doing.
He wasn't the most social of creatures, so he made no attempt to strike a conversation at first, simply watching and observing as the small paws of the other drifted closer and closer to the exit until the kit's body was no longer within the nursery. Blackkit remained still for a few minutes, waiting to see if they'd re-enter and embrace the comfort of the safe den, but after continuing to watch it did not seem that that would be the case. He exhaled softly, before glancing around and quietly slipping out of the den himself. It was bright out here, and he was reminded again quickly of why he hadn't wanted to come out much before - but he was out now. He glanced around, looking to spot the strange ginger kit, and once he located him the young tom slowly padded over with a curious expression painting his features.
One thing he did forget to do, however, was speak.
