Lost with the River [Closed]

Frostpaw knew she wasn't supposed to go out with a warrior but she wasn't going to be stuck in camp any longer than she did as a kit. She was an apprentice now. She could defend herself and hunt, and swim! She didn't need a warrior following her around if she wanted to explore. The white and ginger apprentice froze as she scented skyclan getting close to the border she was at. She knew that they were coming for the scent was stronger than what the border gave off. She stood on edge ready for what would be coming.

Falconpaw padded carefully towards the river. The safety of camp was long behind him, but Firflower didn't have to know he was here. That he had to be here. He had to see it again... the river that claimed a life. One that he had witnessed... the memory burning in his mind of a cat that struggled beneath the flow of a river unrelenting in pulling the cat down into it's hungry depths. He paused, swallowing back his fear to look into the river's slow flowing bank until he heard it. The soft rustle of a leaf.

A cat, on the other side. He looked up, then slowly backed away into the bushes himself. He watched as the young she cat made her way out of the bushes and restrained a hiss. She was too close to the border, he had to let her know who was in charge. He glanced up at the nearest tree, it was too far to make without him giving himself away, so he took the other route.
With a fierce yowl, he launched himself at the she-cat and barrelled his lithe brown body into hers. Amber eyes blazing with ferocity as he glared down at her.

"What are you doing here, Fishbreath?" He growled warningly.

Falconpaw used Run-and-Tackle on Frostpaw.

"Am I not allowed to check the border, fishface?" Frostpaw growled in response. The white and pale ginger she-cat stayed underneath the tom, her claws coming out as she raked his belly before shoving him off and getting back up. She stood at the ready her stance wide, her fur fluffing up at her tail.

"Not when you're that close to it." Falconpaw hissed back. He winced as her claws dug into his belly for a moment, his body pushed back and he rolled with it before he launched a fierce counter attack. Leaping at her from where he had rolled from.
