Full Blood of Half-Brothers

Shade yowled in pain and fury as Liontail's claws caught in his left ear. He shook his head, tearing his ear free and sending droplets of blood flying everywhere, and he lashed out a paw to thwack Liontail hard on the side of the head.

Shade used Front Paw Blow on Liontail, dealing 9 damage and costing 5 stamina.

Liontail snarled in pain, he felt too weak, he couldn´t take too much damage, this cat was stronger than him... but if he was going to lose, he was going to do it fighting, like a true warrior, like his father trained him to be, he took advantage of the last blow that knocked him down and quickly slipped under Shade and attacked his belly with all his might.

Liontail used Half-turn Belly Rake on Shade, dealing 11 damage and costing 20 stamina.

Shade stumbled and panted heavily, wincing and trembling with pain. He may be winning -- just barely -- but he was still far too weak from his previous battle with RiverClan. His mouth twisted into a grimace. "Let's make a deal, kit. You let me go and I just won't have to kill you right here, right now. Because you know I can, and I will. I'll even leave your precious Clan alone." For now anyway.

-Heh... are you asking me or BEGGING me to let you go?-

He panted... he wanted to keep fighting... but Shade´s offer sounded so tempting...

-You may be able to win this fight and kill me... but you know what? i don´t care... if i have to die, i´ll do it, fighting, i´m not scared of death... but... i think taking your offer would be the wiser choice here...-

He trembled, in pain and tired.

-heh, why... why don´t you take a break? Sleep is more fun than killing and invading other territories... and... i can say something for a fact here...- he growls -I never was trained to be lazy... i´ll follow the warrior code, even if that costs my life, and trust me... i´ll take you down with me if i have the chance... now get out of here-

The rogue snorted in disgust. He was such a great fighter -- one of the best -- yet Clans still chose to keep these kinds of lazy cats? What was wrong with the system these days? If he were Clan leader, he'd make sure that cats would be not banished, but killed if they showed any sign of weakness.

Not saying anything, Shade stalked slowly past Liontail towards ShadowClan's borders out into no-Clan land. However, just before he was able to stalk away, he rounded on the warrior just as his guard seemed to lower just the slightest bit, and he slammed both paws down hard on his head, slamming his chin down to the hard ground.

Now, with the warrior dizzy enough to not have to worry about a sneak attack from behind, Shade chuckled lowly and raced out of the territory.

Shade used Upright Lock on Liontail, dealing 14 damage and costing 25 stamina.

Liontail is unable to battle.

Liontail was taken by surprise, before he could even say something, the damage was done, his mistake he guessed, he shouldn´t have turned his back to the enemy... he was too dizzy to keep fighting or to chase Shade...

-Ngh... i have to... return to the camp... i gotta... tell dad about this-

Making an effort, he got up shakily, and started walking towards the camp, stumbling a bit in the way back, he was so tired, he felt like fainting... but he needed to go back and tell what happened... at least it wasen´t so far, the entrance of the camp came into view.

Scorchfang was the first cat to notice his son stumbling towards the camp entrance. His eyes widened in horror and he instantly rushed to Liontail's side, offering his shoulder for him the lean against. "Liontail! Great StarClan, what happened? Who attacked you? Was it... W-Was it a predator?" He didn't want to say aloud what he was truly fearing. Were you attacked... by Shadefang?

Liontail let out a pitiful mew at his father, everything was spinning, he was too weak to keep himself awake, so he leaned against his father, and panted.

-I-it was... i fought Shadefang, dad... h-he is around, he is a rogue now and... i think he is going... after... you...- 

Liontail then fainted.

Scorchfang's eyes widened, and he softly gasped, almost feeling as though he would collapse to the ground right next to Liontail. He had heard it from Jaystar, that his and Sweet's son had been exiled from RiverClan for attempted murder of RiverClan's deputy. But... why would Shadefang hold such a powerful grudge against him? He had done everything he could to cut off all ties from any relationships in RiverClan, but... it looks like pretending that he had never been the father of Shadefang just made things worse.

Lost in his dark thoughts, Scorchfang placed Liontail down gently on the ground, grabbed him by the scruff, and carried him towards the medicine den.
