A vision of blood (Open; Rainy, Hazel, Kent, and Cays needed.

Goldeneye with Silverfang at her side walked into Thunderclan camp like it was home, her tail high. Clearing her throat the medicine cat let her voice resonate throughout the camp, "Cats of Thunderclan! I wish to see your leader and your medicine cats! I come with important news." Goldeneye announced, looking among the cats already gathered.

Rainpaw padded out of the medicine den, lifting his chin a bit. He trotted over to the she-cat, flicking his tail. "Important news? Good, I hope?

Wildfire's fur bristled as Goldeneye's voice filled camp. The sight of the she-cat confident in her camp made her furious. Not to mention her son talking to the fish-breathed dog. Lashing her tail, she scoffed at her son's question. "RiverClan is a plague on the forest, nothing that can be hacked out her throat will be good!"

This only resulted in an embarrassed expression on Rainpaw's face and he muttered an apology to Goldeneye, knowing that if his mother heard him apologize, he'd never get to speak again.

"News?" Echopaw trotted out of the apprentices den. "What is it about?! Is it from StarClan!? Can I hear it?" After seeing the look he was getting from the other cats, Echopaw decided to shut up.

Daypaw was next to emerge from her nest. Her ears were pricked in curiosity as a fishy smell touched the scent glands on the roof of her mouth. She scrunched her nose in disgust, but watched the warriors enter their camp as if they lived among them. She crept toward the two cats. The brown apprentice was much more curious than she was afraid. She glanced around to see if Leopardstar was nearby.

"Let's hear them out," she suggested calmly to Wildfire. In case the she-cat snapped in anger, she lowered her head in submission.

“That’s no way to talk to Goldeneye, Wildfire” The former leader walked out of the nursery with a calm expression. While she was just as pleased as any cat from the clan by watching two RiverClanners arrive to their camp, she knew better than to try and insult a medicine cat, especially one with news “She may be from RiverClan, but she’s a medicine cat and deserves respect…unless she proves otherwise” The rumors of Goldeneye’s involvement in WindClan’s attack and theft from part of Ivystar and her warriors hadn’t gone unnoticed by the white she-cat, but she decided to allow her the benefit of the doubt this time.

“Leopardstar and Marshstorm shall arrive soon…Rainpaw, can you go fetch Mapleleaf?” She asked with her usual gentle and calm tone before sitting next to the two RiverClan cats. Blizzardshine was aware that she no longer had the right to order her clanmates around, but she hoped that her own calm approach and acceptance of the two newcomers as guests would be enough to keep any tensions and insults at bay while the cats Goldeneye requested to see arrived.

Bonepaw looked at the two cats that walked in camp with curious eyes from the apprentice's den, an ear flicking as he heard the small discussion between the cats that quickly started to gather around them. He had heard of the war with RiverClan, a conflict that happened long before he was eve born…and yet the tensions and hatred seemed to be the same as if such events happened only the day before.

Palestripe turned his head quickly as soon as he heard Goldeneye's voice. So the unusual scent that was being blown towards them by the wind was indeed a stranger, though not a hostile one. Acknowledging the two cats, he returned to picking apart his meal, an already half-eaten squirrel, only looking up after he heard Wildfire's remark, who was just next to him, as well as Daypaw, his apprentice. "Maybe she's got important news to share?" the warrior suggested, scooting closer with his food.

Though he had been the leader for quite a few sunrises now, the feeling of sleeping alone in the stone den within Highrock still made him feel uneasy.  Though the nest had been changed and stocked with lots of moss and soft feathers, it felt uncomfortable and stiff to Leopardstar, the shadows that lingered in the far corners of the cave a constant unnerving presence.  For his whole life, he had always slept somewhat near another cat; with Mottledwing in the nursery, surrounded by his denmates as an apprentice, beside Lichenfang in the warrior's den...but now, he was alone.  The very thought of his beloved mate almost brought forth a sob; she was gone.  His best friend, his soulmate, the mother of their kits...had disappeared.  Without her, it felt as if a large piece of him had been ripped away, leaving him as half a cat.  He guessed that without her, any place would feel lonely...

Distracted from his thoughts suddenly, his black-tipped ears pricked up at the sounds of cats talking in the clearing, including a voice that sounded vaguely unfamiliar.  His eyes narrowing, the large spotted tom-cat rose from his nest and stretched, padding on stiff legs to the den's entrance.  That's when it hit him; RiverClan scent.  A low growl escaping his jaws, his body seemed to forget about it's sleepy hesitation as he trotted out from under the flowing curtain of lichen and into the sun-bathed clearing.  He caught sight of the rival cats immediately; a familiar golden tabby she-cat along with a gray tabby with scars adorning her pelt stood surrounded by a group of his clanmates, including Rainpaw and Blizzardshine, two cats he would want by his side in a situation like this.  After pushing his way past the crowd, he greeted Goldeneye and her companion with a respectful, but strained nod, and fixed them with a strong hazel glare.  "Greetings, Goldeneye.  What brings you to ThunderClan's camp, unannounced?"  It took a great bit of effort to keep his words well-mannered, but even then a little bit of displeasure at their presence managed to slip through.  If they had come here with more demands to be made, he could promise them they would not achieve what they sought.  ThunderClan is done bowing down to the might of RiverClan.

Marshstorm slept through the initial announcment. His body sore from a rough morning patrol, though the sound of voices woke him easily. His head lifted in time to see Leopardstar move across the camp and immediately he stood and padded out to follow. He placed himself deliberately in Leopardstar's shadow, both to keep a careful eye on Goldeneye, but also to protect his leader if he needed to. Seeing the RiverClan medicine cat in ThunderClan territory was certainly surprising. He looked towards Blizzardshine and Rainpaw, but neither of them offered up an answer to Leopardstar's question. He forced his muscles to relax, despite wanting to immediately tense. Despite that she was an intruder, the fact was simple enough.

She was a medicine cat. They didn't do assaults, or harm. They aided the wounded, and he didn't doubt that if she needed something from Mapleleaf, that she might want to make an announcement or be accused of stealing. That, made sense, and it helped to ease his tension. Though his expression remained guarded and slightly impassive. He wasn't foolish enough to believe she was absolutely no threat. That could very well change any minute.
"Are you alone?" He asked after a moment of quiet. The realisation that there might be other cats with her set his pelt prickling. He had missed RiverClan and ThunderClan's most recent battle, but that didn't mean that Goldeneye could have brought unfriendly company with her. He turned his amber gaze to Leopardstar for a moment, before he looked back to her. Still not particularly threatening, but steady.

Goldeneye looked from each cat, her gaze still as stone as they questioned her, yelled at her, the Riverclan medicine cat uncaring. "I'm sorry for that, Leopardstar." Goldeneye dipped her head, her eyes narrowing at Marshstorm, "Of course I'm alone, no cat would announce themselves by having their medicine cat walk into enemy camp. Making their medicine cat on the front lines would be stupid enough! But that's beside the point, I'm here because of Starclan. This isn't for all the ears in camp, just for yours." The medicine cat meowed, "if we could speak in private..." she turned to look at the leader's den then back to the spotted tom.

IC: Mapleleaf rushed out of the medicine cat's den after hearing the commotion. The gentle she-cat dipped her head in Goldeneye's direction, a way to be welcoming. She trusted that whatever the other medicine cat had to say, it was dangerously urgent and needed their undivided attention. Mapleleaf turned to look at Leopardstar and nodded. It was a sign to proceed with the Riverclanner's request.

"Well, we've gathered an audience already. This news must be time sensitive if you haven't arranged. Let's get on with it." He asked, flicking his tail. The tom mostly wanted to hurry up so he could stop feeling his mother burn a hole in the back of his head with her glare. He groomed his chest fur and didn't dare look back at the she-cat. He understood the concern but her blatant hatred for RiverClan made him uncomfortable. He couldn't imagine feeling that way about a whole clan. As much as he wanted to just trot into Leopardstar's den, he was going to wait for him to allow it. Leoparstar may be his kin but that didn't give him any privileges.

Leopardstar's ears twitched as Marshstorm's tense question split the air, but he kept his face passive.  The leader would've been lying if he said he hadn't been unconsciously thinking the same, but the quickest way to attract attention to them in RiverClan's eyes would be to show hostility to their medicine cat.  He still remembered what they had done to WindClan.

His tail tip flicked back and forth as he listened silently to Goldeneye, accepting her apology with a curt nod.  Though by no means did he trust any cat from RiverClan, the bright-furred she-cat had always seemed quite civil, though a bit snarky, and he was willing to cooperate with her request.  To gain respect is to show respect, and if she returned from their camp without complaint it was one step closer to repairing their image in RiverClan's eyes.  "If you wish."  Stepping to the side, he ushered her towards his den with a wave of his tail, before locking eyes with some of the cats gathered around him.  "Marshstorm, Mapleleaf, Rainpaw...you three come as well."  With that, he turned and followed Goldeneye into his den, the hanging lichen swaying in their wake.
