A Swamp Full Of Prey

Minnowcall clamly walked out of the warriors den and looked around, as much as she loved her kits she was happy to be out of the nursery. She padded over to the camp entrance and waited, she was suppose to go on a patrol with her mate Scorchfang, Duckpuddle she really didn't like that tom but there was nothing to do about it, he didn't like her either and then Tansyheart, she didn't know much about cat but she hoped that they'd get along. She sat down and started brushing herself.

Scorchfang was the first cat to approach. He purred deeply and pressed his fluffy head into his mate's shoulder, giving it a quick affectionate lick. "It's been a while since we've gotten to do anything together, hasn't it, my love? I'm so happy to spend some time with you again."

There was no way that Newtface could avoid going on a patrol with both Minnowcall and Tansyheart.

Tansyheart - the she-cat who was absolutely horrible at trying to comfort a cat.
Then, there was Scorchfang. Newtface hadn't spoken to the tom in a while, but there were no tensions between the tortoiseshell warrior and the fluffy deputy. As the short-furred tom padded over, he couldn't help but shoot Minnowcall a cold look through a pair of narrowed, yellow eyes. He didn't care if her mate was right beside her. In Newtface's mind, Minnowcall deserved to receive a glare whenever he saw her. It was a grudge that the tom would never let go of. It wasn't like he had a cat to look forward to seeing. Only Tansyheart was left, and he wasn't thrilled about having to hunt with her, either. Without giving either of the cats a nod or an action of acknowledgement, Newtface settled himself down a distance away from them and stared out into the camp that he called home.

Tansyheart padded softly out of the Warriors' den, acknowledging her Clanmates with a small nod. She offered a small smile in Newtface's direction, but she doubted he would notice. He was so wrapped up in his grief, he hardly paid attention to anything his Clanmates did anymore. She barely glanced in Scorchfang's direction, where he was muttering to his mate, Minnowcall. "Is this all of us?" she asked, looking around.

Minnowcall purred softly "Yes it has, kits take up alot of you'r time" she replied with a sweet meow.
She looked around just in the right moment to look Newtface in the eyes as he glared at her. She sighed quietly and looked down.

As she heard the voice of Tansyheart she got up "Yes it is" she quickly replied and waited for Schorchfang before she started walking towards the camp entrance.

Scorchfang had noticed the look Newtface had shot Minnowcall and Tansyheart, but he didn't say anything about it. He knew the multi-colored warrior was still sore over the loss of his love interest many moons ago, and it seemed he still hadn't forgiven the she-cats from preventing her demise. He didn't try to stick up for them, though; as much as he loved Minnowcall, as well as peace and friendship within his Clan, he wasn't going to single Newtface out. He was justified to feel the way he did after all.

Without saying a word, rather just nodding in greeting to Tansyheart and Newtface, he then followed Minnowcall out of camp, letting her take the lead but keeping close to her in case a predator or enemy cat were to show up.
