Timberpaw's Training

Timberpaw bounded out of the Apprentice den as the first rays of the rising sun entered camp, signaling the start of a new day. Yesterday Blizzardstar had promised to bring him out today for training after the morning patrols had left. Obviously, he was quite early as only just now were warriors exiting their den to later be assigned to patrols but he didn't care, having been too excited to sleep very soundly. Whether or not they actually were, Timberpaw felt Blizzardstar's expectations of her apprentice were high and he always did his absolute best to meet and exceed every requirement she had of him. They hadn't been mentor and apprentice for long but Timberpaw looked up to and highly respected Blizzardstar, not just because she was the leader but because she was a strong warrior and good teacher. Sitting by the entrance, Timberpaw bounced in place excitedly as he waited.
