Lavenderkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Blizzardstar leaped onto the Highrock, a serious expression in her face as she looked at her clan from the elevated spot before finally speaking “All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under the Highrock for a clan meeting!”.

Lavenderkit bounced up. "It must be my ceremony!" she said to herself before bouncing out of the nursery. She forced herself to sit down and stay still while she looked at Blizzardstar.

Sharptooth padded out of the nursery behind Lavenderkit, rumbling a small, amused laugh at her obvious excitement. "Perhaps," She mewed, grooming her kit's ruffled fur.

Lavenderkit looked at her mother. "It has to be!" she mewed.

Taking a deep breath, Leopardclaw began the ceremony.  "Lavenderkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed.  From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Lavenderpaw.  Your mentor will be Minkspark.  I hope she will pass down all she knows on to you."
