Frostkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Blizzardstar leaped onto the Highrock, ready for another ceremony “All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under the Highrock for a clan meeting!”.

The scruffy furred she cat came from the nursery hearing the call. She smiled somewhat eagerly. Despite her returning being confusing she was eager and ready to start to help around camp as an apprentice. Her olive green eyes looked to Blizzardstar as she sat down quietly.

Once enough cats were gathered beneath the Highrock, the white leader finally decided to go on "Frostkit, please, step forward”.

Blinking slowly Jaysong's daughter got to her paws and padded forward looking up to Blizzardstar quietly.

Blizzardstar smiled at the kit before talking again “Frostkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Frostpaw” She took a quick glance at the warriors gathered before picking one for the new apprentice “Your mentor will be Smallbird. I hope he passes down all he knows on to you” With that she jumped off the Highrock, dismissing the clan.

Frostpaw blinked and smiled at her new name. Hearing the name of her mentor she looked around quietly eagerly to meet her mentor.

Smallbird, small white and gray tom padded closer nervously twiching whiskers and his tail. Then he smiled quickly and touched his nose with Frostpaw saying: "You will be one of the greatest warriors."

Frostpaw blinked as she had touched noses with her mentor. When she heard his words she seemed to beam at his words"I can't wait to start so I can be"she mewed quietly excitement held in each word.
