playing around with the kits

Sunpaw padded into the nursury smiling. she never had anything to do, and now she could go into the nursury to play with the kits.
"hello, anybody here?"

Leopardheart sat there, grooming Swipekit.

"greetings, Leopardheart!" Sunpaw said cheerfully.
"are you adjusting to nursury life?"

Leopardheart shrugged. "it's alright."

"how are you getting along with the other queens?"
Sunpaw looked at swipekit.
"She/he (not sure wich sorry!) looks as if she/he willl grow up big and strong!"

Leopardheart nodded. "Swipekit is destined to a strong future."

"i beleive so, espacialy since Swipekit has your blood."

Leopardheart looked up. "Oh, no, he deosn't. He's adopted."

"adopted? no wonder...."
no wonder i havnt seen the father.... she continued in her thoughts.

Leopardheart nodded as she grommed her kit. "How's your training?"

"i havn't started, unfortunatly. i guess something might be wrong with my mentor, or something."
she looked down at the nursury floor and clawed at a loose peice of moss.

Leopardheart sighed in sympathy. "Im sorry."

"its ok, i guess. i mean, she IS my mother, and i guess im used to it cause she never really paid me any attention...
when i was a kit i just layed right down and went to sleep, no grooming, nothing.I'm sure shes just busy."
Sunpaw remembered painful memories of her kithood.
"and i guess thets why ive always wanted to be a warrior, to be sure no one gets neglected like i did."

Leopardheart nodded. "Maybe I could mentor you. Who knows?"

"well, as a kit i have really wanted you to, but now you have a kit..."
