Wolfkits eyes glinted,and fell silent,he knew rosethorn knew his secret.

rosethorn licked the kit on the top of the head "well theres no point in making you go to sleep anymore" she purred finally figuring out what windtooth ment

Leopardheart looked at Wolfkit. "Is he yours?"

"yes he is my oldest" she nodded looking at leopardheart.

Leopardheart looked at Wolfkit. "Greetings."

Rainfall padded out of the trees.
"I heard him leave, and followed him out here," she told the other she-cats when she saw them, then turned to Wolfkit sternly. "Why did you leave? You know how dangerous it is out here!"

"rainfall leave him, i need at least one of my kits with me" she told her "windtooth died"

Leopardheart nodded at Rainfall. "Hey."

Rainfall dipped her head to Leopardheart, then turned back to Rosethorn.
"I know, and I'm sorry," she sympathized. "But he needs his sleep, especially now."

Leopardheart nudged the kit towards Rainfall. "Come on, go home."

"NO" she said bringing the kit closser to her and wrapping him in her tail "he will not leave this spot she then noticed how rude she was "im so sorry rainfall i didnt mean it" she said starting to cry again.

Rainfall merely shook her head and sat, curling her tail around her paws neatly.
"I really am sorry for your loss, and I understand that you want to cling to your kits tightly, but they're going to grow up and you can't hold on to them like this forever," she whispered, indicating Wolfkit wrapped in his mother's tail.

"i know but im keeping this one close for now" she said.

Rainfall shook her head sadly.
"You be careful, though," she warned her friend. "I don't want you being dangerous if we go into battle."

"if needed i will be dangerous"rosethorn said her eyes going into slits.
