a lonley night

in the middle of four trees the dark was overwelming as the clouds coverd the sky. the only think to say that there was a cat in the mist was eyes showing through the mist. the eyes were (dun dun dun dun) Rosethorns. she had unknowingly travled to fourtrees after the death of her mate windtooth.

Leopardheart sat in the shadows, eyes closed but ears pricked.

rosethorn caught the smell of thunderclan but thought "just perfect a thunderclan cat who has come to take me away" rosethorn layed down and closed her eyes crying.

Leopardheart stepped out. "Rosethron?"

"leopardheart?" rosethorn asked lifting her head.

"Yeah. Um.....I just found out something."

"what is it?" she asked getting up and padding across to leopardheart.

Leopardheart sighed. "I found out i have a kit, and i don't even know who the father is!"

"realy?" she asked "how could you not know the father, unless" she didnt finish.

Leopardheart shook her head. "She's probably not mine."

"that or startclan sent her to you" rosethorn said then rembering her loss started crying but with a smile for leopardheart.

Leopardheart brushed Rosethorn's shoulder. "Don't cry......."

"im happy for you leopardheart its just...windtooth is dead" she said with a dreaded voice not wanting to say that.

Wolfkit was following Rosethorn."Momma,didnt windtooth say hes closer to you than you thought?"That sounded like something Windtooth would say!

rosethorn hadnt expected her eldest kit to follow her and jumped when he spoke she tured around and said "yes wolfkit, but i dont understand it".
