Tigerpaw staggered into the SkyClan Medicine cat den, awkwardly lugging Ripplepaw along. "Mintpaw?" She called out, "I've brought Ripplepaw!" She gently set the younger apprentice down on the ground and then flopped down beside her, exhausted from the journey back to camp. As carrying Ripplepaw the whole distance had quickly proved to be tricky, she had half carried, half dragged Ripplepaw back to camp. She had been careful not to worsen the other apprentice's wound, but that had been harder to do than it seemed. During the trip back, Tigerpaw's pelt had become stained with blood, and the brown tabby's eyes were alight with worry as she gazed at the younger cat now. Her thoughts flickered back to the fox at the clearing. Had Rippedsky and the others managed to kill it? Hopefully nothing bad had happened after she had left, and they were able to kill the fox with only minor injuries.
