Blackkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Blizzardstar leaped onto the Highrock, a serious expression in her face as she looked at her clan from the elevated spot before finally speaking “All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under the Highrock for a clan meeting!”.

Blackkit pushed her way out of the nursery and through the throng of cats slowly gathering around Highrock. She wasn't sure what this ceremony was for--usually she didn't pay very close attention to them--but she always liked to get as close to the leader as she was allowed to do.

Once enough cats were gathered beneath the Highrock, the white leader finally decided to go on Blackkit, please, step forward” Blizzardstar waited for the apprentice to do as she was told before speaking again “Blackkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Blackpaw” She took a quick glance at the warriors gathered before picking one for the new apprentice “Your mentor will be Daisyheart. I hope she passes down all she knows on to you” With that she jumped off the Highrock, dismissing the clan.

DaisyHeart looked up in surprised. This was going to be her second apprentice and she was still gonna miss flickerpaw. She stood up and walked to the younger cat and touched noses with her. "i will teach you all I know." she said smiling. She looked around at all seven of her now grown up kits, they where all smiling at her with congratulations. She smiled at them and Foxfire then turned back to apprentice. "we will start tomorrow so get your rest." she said then walked over to Foxfire and licked his cheek. She got surrounded by her kits.
