Icekit's Apprentice Ceremony

Blizzardstar leaped onto the Highrock, a serious expression in her face as she looked at her clan from the elevated spot before finally speaking “All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under the Highrock for a clan meeting!”.

Icekit sat, looking up at Blizzardstar. She knew that this was her ceremony, but she didn't know what to expect or what to do.

Once enough cats were gathered beneath the Highrock, the white leader finally decided to go on Icekit, please, step forward” Blizzardstar waited for the apprentice to do as she was told before speaking again “Icekit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Icepaw” She took a quick glance at the warriors gathered before picking one for the new apprentice “Your mentor will be Whiteheart. I hope she passes down all she knows on to you” With that she jumped off the Highrock, dismissing the clan.

Icekit stepped forward, looking out over the cats. As Blizzardstar told her that her mentor would be Whiteheart, she scanned the crowd in search of this cat, suddenly realizing she didn't know her yet.

After the ceremony ended, Icekit padded away from the Highrock, pleased.
