The Daily Grind...OH STARCLAN IS THAT A FOX?! (Closed)

"Come over here Owlpaw, I scent something."  His voice hushed cautiously, Ryeheart flicked the tip of his fluffy ginger tail to beckon the brown-and-ginger apprentice closer, his ears angled towards a nearby patch of brush.  Both his ears and nose told him that something was hiding in there, some time of rodent.  This was the perfect opportunity to demonstrate a team hunting takedown to his adopted-apprentice; the young tom had come a long way, and his warrior ceremony wasn't far off.  Crouching down into a position of stealth, he waited for Owlpaw to fall in beside him, pupils narrowed to concentrated slits.

Unnoticed in the shadows, a russet-pelted shape plodded through the mud of ShadowClan territory, it's nose twitching intently.  It had just detected prey scent - rodent and cat.

Owlpaw nodded his head rapidly as he followed Ryeheart slowly. The tom was crouched beside him with his eyes scanning the area in front of him. He looked at the warrior with a smile. The apprentice felt good being outside of the camp not stuck with camp dutues.

Ryeheart was about to give the signal to pounce when...suddenly...he scented something.  Jumping to his paws with a rustle of the nearby bushes - which scared away their quarry - he turned just in time to see a sleek-pelted russet fox spring out of the bushes, and head right towards them.  "Owlpaw, you know what to do!"  Before the beast could reach his apprentice, he reared up onto his hind legs and claws viciously at the animal, his teeth bared in a threatening hiss.

Ryeheart used Rear-up to Slash, costing 15 stamina and dealing 11 damage

The fox growled angrily as it was detected by the larger cat and attacked, backing away slightly as the tom's blows connected with it's muzzle.  Slightly confused, it hesitated, lips drawn back in a defensive snarl.
