Blossomheart went out alone more often now. Patrolling the border against Thunderclan. Lost in thought, she slowly eased past the markers, not even realizing it.

Dawnpetal decided to patrol near the SkyClan border. After her fight against Elmcloud, and then again with Sharptooth against Rippedsky and Brokenpaw, she had to mate sure another SkyClanner didn't try crossing the border again. And sure enough...

She was getting so incredibly tired of confronting SkyClan first before being flung into battle, never being the first one to land a hit. Well, that was going to change today. She was going to show SkyClan they were not welcome in ThunderClan's part of the forest! With a yowl, she raced to the she-cat and slammed her head into her shoulder, knocking her back. "Excuse you! Why are you SkyClan cats always trying to cause trouble here, huh? Stay in your own territory for StarClan's sake!"

Blossomheart was by no means aware or ready for the she-cat to come barreling into her. "What the-" She snapped out of her daydreaming to come to realize she was on Thunderclan land, just a few tail-lengths away from the border. "Typical Thunderclan, act first, ask questions later!" She taunted annoyedly. "Maybe if you stopped to talk about it, you'd understand that I wasn't hunting, I didn't even know I was on Thunderclan land! I can't even think without running into a trigger-happy cat waiting to pick a fight!" She rolled away, then jumped up to her paws. She scurried up a tree, past the few leaves, seemingly running away. Instead, she leaped off and tackled the older she-cat.

Dawnpetal shook the her head, her fresh wounds stinging intensely. Hissing, she reared up on her own hind legs and brought her forepaws down hard on her opponent's head, slamming her muzzle into the leaf-bare-hardened earth.

Blossomheart's dazed mind took a while to process her opponent's words. "I don't know, I probably would just remind you that you're on my territory, tell you to get off and that would be that! No unnecessary bloodshed!" Her next thought was just a mutter. "Honestly, some cats..." She knew there was no way out now, so she gave it her last resort- getting on Dawnpetal's back. Once she was there, she used claws and teeth to latch on.

Dawnpetal bared her teeth to endure the pain. Lifting her paw, claws sheathed, she thwacked the side of the SkyClan warrior's head, knocking her to the ground. "Says the cat who crossed into my territory. Well, now you can go home. Let this be a reminder to you not to lose track of your surroundings and stay in your own territory." With an angry hiss, Dawnpetal turned, flicked her tail rudely in Blossomheart's face, and padded back into her territory.
