Deep rage set on Curlyfeather's face when she saw the fox attack Cedarstorm. How dare that vile creature hurt her sister? Hissing with anger she jumped back onto her hind legs. Now she brought them down hard on top of the brutal beast, bring her whole body weight with them. After the crashing blow, she growled, preparing to strike once again. This battle would be won by ShadowClan.

The she-cat yelped surprised when those fangs sunk into her flesh and her body was shaken so violently. When she was thrown away, Cedarstorm didn't have the time to react and she fell on her flank, her mind dizzy by the hit. She hissed trying to recover quickly to help her clanmates but her body didn't respond to her desires for now.

Cedarstorm is stunned.

Dawnpaw had hidden in the shadows of a bush after she had attacked. She was watching Curlyfeather attack the fox, and she was about to spring. She pushed up on her hind legs and landed on the other side of the bush. She then Charged at the Fox at full force, slamming into its sleek body.

Curlyfeather could sense how close the fox was to losing. Fueled by the burning rage of Cedarstorm being hurt, she unsheathed her  claws, using her front paws the repeatedly slice at it over and over again. She could feel it struggling to escape, but her swipes were just too quick. With just a few more slices, it fell to the ground, unconscious. One more strike and it was finished off. Not a glimmer of pity showed in her angry blue eyes. "Serves you right."

When Cedarstorm finally stood up on her paws, the fox laid in the grass dead and bloodied. She approached her sister to see if she was okay and she was glad to know that she was the only one who got hurt and not Curlyfeather or Dawnpaw. With a nudge to catch her attention and a couple of tail signals, she silently told her to gather her prey so they could come back. Then, she turned her blue eyes to the apprentice. "We must inform Littlestar about this. Fetch your fresh-kill quickly and let's go. I think we had enough hunting fun for today."

The experienced warrior grabbed her lizard and start to lead the patrol back to the camp, finishing the hunting patrol.
