Not All Hope Is Lost [Open for WindClan]

At the scent of ThunderClan, Ashstar darted out of her den from where she'd been instructed by Mottleheart to get some rest. Unlike the smell of any other Clan, this one was welcome. How lucky she was to have a friend and ally in Blizzardstar- and it was the leader who had come, along with a few warriors and an apprentice, bringing a much needed commodity... herbs. Feeling happier than she had since even before RiverClan appeared on their territory, the gray she-cat walked forwards, eyes warm. "You are welcome in my camp, Blizzardstar," she greeted the she-cat. "Have you come to offer aid?"

Stormcloud’s eyes widened considerably when he smelled ThunderClan approaching. Were their allies here to help? He didn’t even want to consider the alternative as he padded over. His ribs still felt sore, but he liked to think they were healing rather well, all things considered. His gaze held deep respect and thanks as he watched the cats ahead, a small bubble of hope inside his chest that swelled until he was almost certain they had been saved.

Blizzardstar smiled warmly at the WindClanners that slowly gathered around them. When the kit rushed towards her she couldn’t help but chuckle a bit, her soft spot for kits making her forget for a short time the grim reason that had brought her and her clanmates to their ally’s camp in the first place “Yes, little one, we are friends” She purred softly at Fernkit before the voice of the WindClan leader caused her to rise her gaze to meet hers.

“Indeed. When you told me about RiverClan’s crimes against your clan I couldn’t just sit and let you and your clanmates suffer without moving a paw. I had a talk with Mapleleaft before coming here…” As she said these last words she pointed at the medicine cat with her tail “…and we both agreed on bringing you as many herbs as we can spare so you can recover from that battle. We wish we could’ve brought more, but after the destruction brought to us by the fire and our own war against RiverClan, this is all we could gather” She pushed the bundle of herbs that she had brought towards Ashstar with her paw, a signal for her and her clanmates to take them.

Sweetpaw had been out on the territory for a run before training with Laurelsong when she caught the scent of Thunderclan. Without hsitation she followed it sprised when it led her back to camp. Padding in, Sweetpaw quickly spotted her father and mentor sitting together and went to sit beside them. "What's going on?" Sweetpaw spoke lowly, as not to interupt the conversation between Ashstar and Blizzardstar.
