Lionkit's Apprentice Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath Jaggedrock for a Clan meeting!" Scorchfang called, a happy grin stretching across his face. Today was the day his dear son Lionkit would become an apprentice, and he already knew just who would be able to mentor him.

Lionkit, knowing what was going to happen, yawned and stretched, deciding to take it easy, he slowly made his way towards the gathering place, no hurry.

The deputy snorted softly in amusement to himself. Lionkit would have to learn how to put forth the effort, energy, and dedication into his training if he wanted to become a warrior. "Lionkit, step forward," he meowed, waiting until his son did so before continuing with the ceremony. "You have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. Lionkit, from this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you shall be known as Lionpaw. Your mentor will be Rowantalon. I have total confidence he will pass down all he knows on to you." He smiled down at his father as he named him the mentor to ShadowClan's newest apprentice. He knew just how strong and talented a warrior he was, and he knew he would be able to teach his grandson and newest apprentice well.

The spotted warrior stepped forward, regarding his grandson with a mixture of pride and seriousness, his hazel eyes glimmering. Rowantalon barely had to bend down to meet his grandson's nose with his own. Although his grandson was his pride and joy, he could tell that he would have a lot of work to do.
"Training starts tomorrow at sunrise. Don't be late." He mewed, his tail twitching as a half-smile formed on his maw. It had been too long since he had had an apprentice.

Lionpaw touched noses with his grandpa, closing his eyes and purring softly "Alright, i´m so eager to start" he seemed sincere but, his body language and face didn´t matched his words.
