Shadekit's Apprentice Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join here beneath the Jagged Rock for a clan meeting." Sagestar yowled across the clearing.

~I decided to change my charrie to a boy. So Shadekit is now a tom~

Shadekit bounded outside in a rush of excitement. It's happening! he thought happily. It's actually happening! He bounded in front of the Jagged Rock and sat down, smoothing down his pelt, his eyes shining in delight.

"Shadekit, you have reached the age of six moons and it's time for you to be apprenticed. Please, come forward." Sagestar said, looking down at the cat.

Shadekit nodded and padded forwards, his eyes brimming with excitement as he looked up at Sagestar.

"Until this young tom has earned his warrior name, he will be known as Shadepaw." Sagestar meowed, nodding to him and flicking his gaze over at the deputy. "Nightwing will be your mentor."

Ic: Nightwing nodded at Sagestar, then padded up to her new apprentice; Shadepaw. She bent down to touch noses with the young cat, then told the newest apprentice. "We'll go on a patrol with the others tomorrow, but for now, get something to eat, and meet your new denmates." The deputy purred and motioned to the apprentice's den.
